Hi . I have done the ICM xvI kit .like you I added the tubes and ign wires . I have to say .to press .it is the very best 1:48 scale spitfire you can get . Great video .good job .
Really awesome build, I love all your scratch building to bring it to the next level. The only let down for me was the fuel tank. You made an excellent job of building it, but weren't they covered in rubber which swelled when it came in contact with fuel so that it sealed in the event that the tank was pierced during a dogfight...which would mean that it wouldn't be silver in colour, but black, or a dark browny orange???
Outstanding. I have 5 of the spitfire kits. I had to new wheels True Detail wheels. The ones on the kit are very Bad. Other than that there great kits. Also I enjoy you’re builds. Keep them coming.👍
Man, you are insane! I built a mk9 from icm, and it was extremely bad at fitting, however, most problems were with cowling, and you beautifully evaded them. lol. Beautiful build! What do you dilute mr white putty with?
Unfortunatly, I clicked on wrong icon in video rendering settings. I noticed when it was already uploaded :-(. I am going to replace it with progressive, but its 5 hours of uploading from my computer so it would be re-uploade during either this or next weekend.
It looks fantastic! You really inspired me to build my spitfire (also ICM model but different version). But i need to ask. What thinner (and ratio) you use for AK paints? I painted tank interior with this paint and it was horrible... i spent over an hour cleaning my airbrush. As if it was not enough, next day the paint layer cracked entirely which made me to remove and redo over 3 weeks of daily work on my Tiger... that was Airfix interior kit. I will be greatful for advise!
Nobody wants to say because it dependens on many things. How much time you can spend building(work/study), type of model (scale, brand, how much pieces does model have), what kind of paint you use,..etc. Also, if you do some mistake than correction is very time consuming. I built this Spitfire in +/- 1 month (50-60 hours). I was working on it after school and also had spring holidays that time, so it was going quite fast. I've got models which I built in 5 days and also some which I'm working on for a year.
@@ModComScaleModels it took me around 3.5 weeks to complete my ICM xvI 1:48 ...and I was on mine almost every day ...in this hobby .you don't rush ..it's like reading a book ..you aim to finish but hate it when you do .as some details you wished you had done more or different.
Nice music accompanying this great model .
One word.... SPLENDID
Beautiful work! Congratulations from Brazil!
Precision of a surgeon. Well done.

Great build. I'm just starting the same build now. But, I'm not at the level to scratch build, and those engine parts all look very skilful.
Wow👍👀

Great build an awesome scratch building
What did you use for the rings on the railing that supports the coaling? (min 14:16)?

I diluted putty with Mr.Color Thinner
Мне понравилось!!! Лайк и подписка!!!
спасибо
Awesome, but I have to ask; why the interlaced video? The combing spoils the details when there's motion :(
Unfortunatly, I clicked on wrong icon in video rendering settings. I noticed when it was already uploaded :-(. I am going to replace it with progressive, but its 5 hours of uploading from my computer so it would be re-uploade during either this or next weekend.
May I take this Spitfire for an instrument check ??? . Thank you .

Amazing.
How much models do you have?
About 25-30
Wow that’s cool
WOW!
Hi! Did you thinn up the AK acrylic paint?
Build time?, nobody seems to want to say how long some models took to assemble, does it take a Week, two or is it more?🤨
