@@chrissiereacts hello love the channel, have you seen rock n rolla? Good film.im sure you'd like it? Gangster no1? It's pretty good, a couple of older British films like" quadrophenia" or proper classic long good friday! Enjoy 😁
The show you were talking about, Wellington paranormal is part of this universe. There are multiple cameos from this movie. In fact as i write this i remember that the 2 cops from the show appear in this movie 😂
I just wanted to recommend ''Flight of the Concords, but you beat me to it. The meetings with the agent (Rhys Darby as ''Murray'' is a riot!) are indeed hilarious, and every song and the musical sequences are fantastic!
It's been in development for a long time, but there are also plans to make a spin-off film, titled "We're Wolves". Wellington Paranormal is also worth a watch, starring O'Leary and Minogue from the film, and centred more around other supernatural happenings in the Wellington area.
I went into this film totally blind about the story and was pleasantly blown away! Very unique and original take on the subject matter. Great reaction!
It's honestly absurd how funny this film is, I wish I'd seen it sooner than I did, it's one of my absolute favourites now. I know people have gone off Taika, for whatever reason, but between this and Jojo Rabbit, I could never say a bad word about the guys work.
I have so many suggestions. The Rage In Placid Lake (with Ben Lee), He died with a Falafel in his hand, Animal Kingdom, Dogs in Space.. so many great Australian and NZ films to watch. In my fathers Den and Boy from NZ are amazing.
I love this movie just saying. I work in music store in Wellington, Jemaine Clement, Jonny Brugh and Karen O'Leary come in regularly to buy instruments often. All good people no ego's a pleasure to interact with. Love your channel love your reactions, I will say when you cry it gets me. I just want to give you a big hug and wipe you tears away. I'm reacting to your reaction haha. Love your content!
The show you were looking for at the beginning is "Wellington Paranormal" that show is sooooooo New Zealand 😂😂 the best part I loved about the movie you're watching was the little photos they had and the one that's gets me dying in tears of laughter is the 'Soda Stream with Blood' 🤣🤣 cause Soda Stream was a new big trend in the 80's🤣🤣
To go with already mentioned recommendations, you might like Our Flag Means Death. Its a comedy, and stars Taika Waititi and Rhys Darby (who were Viago and the Head Werewolf in this movie). Has a similar sense of humour to both the movie and show. Then as far as New Zealand movies, Boy and Hunt for the Wilderpeople are good, but since I know you can like drama too, I'd also recommend Whale Rider as well. Take care all.
Since you seemed to have appreciated two New Zealand films the third one I'd recommend (apart from the Lord of the Rings trilogy) is Hunt for the Wilderpeople
This movie got me into Norma Tanega which I'm grateful for. The first thing I did after watching it was buy the album Walkin' My Cat Named Dog. It has by now paid for itself a hundred times over. SO good.
I love Wellington Paranormal. The two cops are dryly funny. Not all episodes hit the mark but it’s unique in comedy tv series. Also Flight of the Concords is great.
Yeah "Wellington Paranormal" is the show you're thinking of, it's stoopidly hilarious, and idiotically really really chucklesome. The two Cops in this movie are the same two Cops from Wellington Paranormal so you can get a hint of what the show is like from their appearance here.
Gawjus...nice to hear you laugh....kiwi sense of humor some of Nzs best especially Taika who is now married to Rita Ora....loved this movie....have a beautiful day.
A handful of great Kiwi films to check out - before Peter Jackson gained fame with the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, he made three other great films, 'Bad Taste', 'Braindead' and 'Meet The Feebles' - also highly recommend 'Scarfies'
Just watching this video again has reminded me of a movie that I think you might get a kick out of. The movie is called Dog soldiers. I won't spoil it but it contains some lanky dogs. 😊
Hi Crissie, thought I'd mention something I just noticed and you might not have not have. Deacon's familiar Jackie. Is the same woman who plays Holly in Mr Inbetween . Brook Satchwell is the actresses name.
For a while they were thinking of doing a sequel to this movie focusing on the Werewolves they encountered in this movie. This sequel was going to be called We're Wolves. Don't think it got of the ground unfortunately.
What’d you think of Deadloch? I LOVED it but I’m a Kiwi so the humour was very suited to me… I always hope people in other parts of the world find our (Kiwi and Aussie) movies and TV shows entertaining
@@sowhatchajen2846 yeah I completely agree about Eddie! To the point where I half-heartedly continued watching because I wasn’t super into her character but by about half way through the season I adored it all
