This is the step in the right direction. Winning and staying undefeated in the pool is a huge Improvement. Making the playoffs is a huge achievement and they did put up a good fight most of the game against the Boks. I can say that they will be a threat in the next World Cup and in Rugby.
As a South African I'm super happy at the result of the final, but want to say that Japan has everything to be proud of - their team did so well and played with great emotion and pride, and the people of Japan have shown the world that they are truly special. I as a South African I want to thank the Japanese people for this years world cup. 5 star stuff. As a rugby fan, I have great respect for the Japanese rugby team. They motivated, well trained, focus and has the biggest desire to win. It was a loss for Japan but it's one that you could take proudly. They did a great job and had the Bok's rattled. It's a victory over Japan that us as South Africans will not take lightly and we will be watching the Japanese team closely. Japan had a great season and I can't wait to see them take on more Tier 1 teams and destroying them. Awesome Rugby Japan, keep it up.
