I just picked one of these up yesterday. It's an absolute blast. I had it up to 71 mph on the interstate. It dropped down to 66 when going up a long, steep hill, but otherwise kept it's top speed. I'm about 165 lbs.
@Joe_Mamas_House Yeah. It took me a few months to realize how bad it was off, then I had to figure out how to do it. I spent a day with a speedometer app to check my speed, then keep adjusting until I got it perfect.
I was able to get my 2017 Kawasaki z125 pro in early 2018 for $2650 which was a very good deal so i bought it. And it still puts a smile on my face when i ride it and thats what it is all about.
I bought 2 of these afew weeks ago for me and my wife. Ive been really impressed. Were both about 140 and have seen 73-74 in 6th on flat ground. Ive also considered going down 2 or 3 teeth in the rear or up 1 or 2 up front.
My girlfriend has the papio for more than a year. She had a lemon bike. Forks leak, brake light malfunction and the worsts are shifter suddenly fell from the bike so better check on that. We went to the mountains a few months back and fuel pump failed. So that was the biggest hassle. Another thing is always check the screws as they tend to loosen up. Take note of these. Good notes, she weighs 54kg. She kills cb650Rs on the twisties.
My son bought the same bike , same color yesterday July 11th. I like it . I put a little over 50 miles on it . I own a Grom myself , Family that rides together ❤ stays together.
Hey Lazy Rider! Just wanted to give you some feedback on the speedometer variation. On a recent ride we compared the Papio speedometer to Google maps, and the bike was consistently displaying 2-3 mph faster than GPS.
The added gear does seem to add some flexibility in terms of changing the gearing. Since 1st gear is so low, you could go a few teeth smaller on the rear sprocket and still have a nice low 1st gear but make 6th gear a true overdrive. Thanks for watching!
Hey Tyler! Just wanted to get back to you on the speedometer variation. We found the Papio to display about 2-3 mph faster than GPS. Hopefully this helps!
I think it's a good buy. Cheaper than a Grom a bit quicker. And extra gear. Can get 2 of these for about 6k. And be fun to rip around on rides with the wife.
Certainly tempting. Finding a Grom in my area (especially the gen 3) is pretty hard right now, and the Z125 Pro needs a desperate update. A local dealer has a bunch of Papios and if they can get their QC up a bit higher I might genuinely consider one. Otherwise I might just get a carbed grom clone for half the price, lmao.
In general these small single cylinders do tend to sound buzzy at high rpms, however, one thing that has tricked me in the past is the license plate buzzing against the plastic fender. Just do a quick walk around the bike and make sure nothing silly is making noise. Hopefully that helps!
The intro is supposed to be a somewhat cinematic way of explaining that we are a father and son channel. The old footage is my dad back in the 90's. It probably doesn't portray to everyone how I originally intended. We are still very new to youtube lol. Thanks for watching!

Awesome to hear, thanks for watching!
Is it okay to just be pegged out at 65 for 10-15 minutes at a time that’s the only reason I am so skeptical
@@SwagginWagginN54I’m wondering the same thing
Did you adjust your speedo?

Awesome to hear! I think CF Moto is a very underrated company. Thanks for watching!
I bought one, fun bike!
Just get ECU flashed and full system exhaust and you'll be impressed at how much more you get out of it.
Thanks for making this video your channel actually has my interest and I’m planning on getting one of this soon
Thanks so much for watching! We're impressed with CF Moto and we look forward to testing more bikes in the future

honestly the motor goes in this toss a yz80 into it lol
Just found this, awesome video, going to look at one this week.
Can you remove the baffle from the stock exhaust on these?
Unfortunately no. It’s welded solid

Would be really interested to see how off the speedometer is on this bike. Stock 22-23 Groms with stock gearing tend to be around 3% off

@@armchairbikerstv thanks for the info - so its similar to a grom on stock gearing.
If you can only have one. Which one should you get between the Papio and Grom?
i used to ride a 125m atc everywhere lol hours of road riding
Can we drive this on freeway?
You could but I wouldn’t really recommend it
Do you think the six speed was a real advantage? These have my interest

Really thinking of selling my Honda Navi and picking one up! Love that it has 6 gears!!
Can you check speed with GPS to be more accurate? Considering getting one of these.
Yes next time we are out I'll compare it with Google maps. Thanks for watching!

This was very helpful in making my decision
My wight only 50kg 😂😂 will go 100 i gss 🤣

I don't know what QC Issues you think they have?
Hey, what is that buzzing sound these things make at the higher rpm, it's kinda has a rattling noise same as mine does?

I bought a papio because of this video 👍🏻
Awesome to hear! Thanks for watching and congrats on the new bike 👍
I love how the instrument panel is easy to see.
Was it running smoothly? The audio makes it sound like a miss.
Yes it runs perfectly fine. Thanks for watching!
I'm sorry bro but that music you play in the beginning is not fit for this video

I liked it and thought it looked cool seeing older footage 🙂
New sub. Going to look for updates with this machine. We are getting 1.
Thank you so much! There will definitely be more updates to come. We have around 1,000 miles on it so far
@@armchairbikerstv yeah this type of stuff interests me. I will pass your channel along to my friends and family
@@anakinskywalker4459 We greatly appreciate it!
Where do I buy the filter and oil??
Your local dealer should be able to supply those items
That’s pretty cool
Thanks for all the comments! We always appreciate it!
I have one too...97 kmh on the flat for me...119...down hill 😅
And yeah...I believe my speedometer is off too
My only extra...is a seat cushion
Awesome to hear! Thanks for watching!
The CF Moto Papio is a 126 cc not a 125cc this is why says 126 this is according to their website
Shut up
Coooool dude!! 😎 just having a great time riding around
