Would love to see handler bar risers of several inches and sweep back a bit…. I think Life of Burch said to try 4 inch or taller bar risers…. This will help also with standing up adventure bike style!!! Love your content! Look forward to everyone …. Don’t forget the Navi!!!
Love the awesome BMW R1100GS hiding in the background.....not many of those around anymore.....the best GS ever made if you ask me....Iv got a 99 model myself. Love the rebel too tho. 2 of my favorite bikes in one video haha!
The T-Rex skid plate looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing what your thoughts are, and if you are going to pair an engine guard with it. Also, the headlight replacement will be an interesting video. It's a great project.
Hi guys. Nice build and video. Question? I’ve got a Rebel 1100 and wanting some gravel/dirt road capability (70/30 maybe?). But I’m finding it hard to get scrambler like tires to fit the 1100. I like your set up with tires but am wondering how it does on paved roads? Did you give up much smooth riding putting these 40/60 tires?
@@cfpours The tires we went with are a little aggressive for street riding, although they are surprisingly smooth and balanced considering that they are basically a full knobby. If you don’t plan on doing any actual off-roading then I would go with something a little more street oriented. You will probably have to go with a tire size different than factory like we did, as you said there aren’t many options. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the reply. I ended up putting on Kenda K761 70/30 tubeless tires. The front size is 110/80-18 and is doing fine. The rear is a 150/80-16 like yours. But the rear is losing air slowly. So I’m planning to add a tube to see how that works. Any hints to offer regarding putting a tube in a tubeless tire?
@@cfpours I would maybe recommend trying to find where the leak is, make sure it’s not something simple like the valve core leaking. If the tire is mounted properly then you shouldn’t have any issues with air leaking out of the bead. You could also try to put in a little bit of tire sealant if it’s a small enough leak, easier than a tube.
Thanks for the reply. I had a bike shop originally mount the tire. When I later found it had the slow leak, I took it back. They ordered a new tire but eventually decided this 150 tire just wasn’t mounting securely on the 180 wheel. When I asked about a tube, they were not willing to do so since it was a tubeless tire. I haven’t been able to find the leak. So, the tube has arrived, but I will try the sealant idea first and see if that helps or not.
I disagree with your future front head light replacement. If your going to put an enduro ralley type headlight on it, then you might as well just purchase an enduro ralley bike. This bike is beautiful. If front head light is an issue, then please, please, try to keep the front head light design the same as it is
Just bought a Rebel 1100 this past weekend and immediately thought it would make a fantastic scrambler. So glad I found this channel!
@@josht717 congrats on the new bike and welcome to the channel, more to come soon!

This is amazing! Love all the different ways you can customize it. I personally am trying to turn mine into a more club style cruiser look

@@yefroy definitely getting a radiator guard soon lmao
