I’m so glad you enjoyed this one!! ❤️ this one is a personal fave of mine that’s very similar - ua-cam.com/video/TSJ1PJOE9L8/v-deo.html Stay healthy and strong ❤️💪
Fantastic flow, I loved it. However, the music was a bit distracting for me, maybe a slower beat would be more in tune with the lovely flow. I saved it to my library and I will definitely do it again. It’s challenging and fun. Thank you.
I hear ya sista, but you tried your best and that’s all that matters!! I have two power yoga flows (this is one) and both are EXTREMELY challenging!!!! Check out my other flows which are more all-levels friendly! My favorite is the IT band and hammie flow - not a lot of views but definitely my favorite!! If you want a good workout try some of the barreless workouts that are around 15 minutes or less- you’ll definitely want to quit because it WILL burn - but that’s what we want!! 🔥💪❤️ 3lbs or a water bottle in each hand should do the trick!
@@FitbyLarie you are AMAZING for that response. I know this is about to be lengthy but I want you to know what I'm up against and hoping you can help. I've only been doing yoga about 2 months so I'm still a novice but you have no idea how important this work is to me. I'm 38 years old. From 11 years old until 38 I was severely obese, at 5'5 and anywhere between 250-274 pounds my body was constantly under the stress of my own body weight. I did undergo gastric bypass surgery but drastic measures were necessary. Even when I mustered the energy to put in good time at the gym, by the end of the session I honestly felt crippled😭 My entire body was so grossly out of alignment that it caused me the worst case of pronated knees (knock knees) I had ever seen in my life. Even worse than I could find on Google. My knee caps were no longer in the "middle" of my knees. The knee pain was debilitating. Even if I took a slower pace on a treadmill it would cause my sciatica to flare up. I didn't even know what sciatica was at first all I knew was it felt like a muscle deep within the middle of my ass was on fire and I couldn't even stand for 2 seconds without screaming in pain. Riding an exercise bike was fruitless. My knees wouldn't even bend properly. Gastric bypass was june 2018. Once I shed 123 pounds and had taken control of my food addiction I noticed I looked, for better words, almost deformed from the waist down. While I sat up "straight" to walk I wondered why it always looked as if I was hunched over. I had NO CLUE that all my problems with my knees basically stemmed from tight hip flexors which caused me to have ANTERIOR PELVIC TILT, which caused over pronation of my knees> tight hamstrings> abnormally short quadriceps> one leg longer than other> meniscus tears> weak glutes and PAIN. Not to mention my legs looking grossly misshapen. If you've followed along, I love you so much. I can imagine all my ailments are lengthy and boring and you get the point. I've been working my ass off trying to correct nearly a lifetime of incorrect posture by doing yoga. I'm not looking to be sleek or a yogi. I authentically want a body that is strong and supports me so I can be active with my 7 year old daughter. My physical therapist's office is booked so until they call I'm on my own. I now consciously move/walk/practice with my hips stacked over my pelvis, tailbone tucked (not too much) and pulling up through my pelvic girdle. It's very hard, old habits die hard. When I'm showering or very tired I have a tendency to go back into pelvic tilt and go into knocked knees. My question is can you PLEASE do a video to help with anterior pelvic tilt and knock knees? I'm doing my best and I already feel stronger but everything from the waist down is so out of alignment and weak. Also, it's so hard to do hip flexor yoga without straining my knees. While I'm breathing into my hip sockets I'm also trying NOT to over work my knees. I wanna be able to enjoy concerts and outdoor activities without being in so much pain that I'm nearly crippled afterwards. Please, please help. I'm all fudged up!!😆💯😵
First off- your story is amazing. You should be very proud of yourself.❤️ Second- of course I will make a video -give me time, my kids own me 😂(enjoy these two exercises in the mean time --ua-cam.com/video/wgOuR7YrwtM-/v-deo.html- and --ua-cam.com/video/6TKktamzq4o-/v-deo.html- ) I also suffer from anterior pelvic tilt which overworks my quads and underworks my glutes 😭 these two exercises are also great glute activators! I prefer to do any bridge exercise with my shoulders elevated because it allows me to get better core and glute activation. My fellow yoga teaching friend showed me a cool yoga pose/trick for sciatica pain - go into three legged dog, stack your hips to open up, bend your knee and reach your heel towards your butt- do this 5 times then switch to the other side. For low impact cardio exercises, I love the strider/elliptical at a low resistance, rowing machine, and swimming! Swimming is HARD but that would be very beneficial cardio for knee pain! Cycling seats are the worst haha My coaches gave me great advice when starting a new workout program which is ease into it. With time, add time : ) you’re doing great! Pat yourself on the back gf!!! 🙌🙌🙌💁♀️💁♀️💁♀️
Your story is amazing and inspiring. I am 55 years old and I have always worked out. I started yoga about 5 years ago and continued to run, spin and weights. It's only recently that I only do yoga and I have never felt so good.

Those one legged push-ups were such a challenge. Not there yet... but something to work at. Thanks Larie.
This was my first practice with you and it was a extremely challenging yet such a beautiful and peaceful flow. I look forward to practicing with you.
Loved this practice! Thank you. I liked your reminders to stay strong sprinkled throughout . I will definitely come back to do this class again.

All of my older videos suck in regards to the audio. I’ve gotten (a little) better at editing and audio. I definitely agree with you ❤️
12 minutes in and I had to throw in the towel. I'm too beginner for this flow lol
