@josderbos9571 yes, that also surprised me. Schumi didn't arrive till near the end of 91', Prost had his sabbatical in 92' so 93' was the only season all three were competing together. I think Prost quite liked Schumacher, he was more laid back then Senna, Senna just saw him as a threat. Saddest thing there should be two of them still here to tell the story but of course there's only one..
@@markfarnon6742 would love to have seen it, the what ifs. I can fully understand why Schumacher became so good by looking at that podium - he was schooled by titans
not really, they quite hated each other due Prost made the veto for Senna being his teammate in Williams, and all the past things that happened in Mclaren. And few know that Senna in 1993 got a quite bad feeling with his engineer
As a brazilian, I always felt Senna was trying to be as restrained person as he could.... But when he was behind the wheel, his driving skills would speak louder. Miss you, Chefe!
@@timyo6288 Hah good laugh. Fangio, Schumacher, Prost, Senna, Piquet, Brabham, Stewart and many others before that glorified uber driver from Mercedes motors. EVEN ROSBERG JR DESTROYED SIR WHINESALOT.
It's all a question of taste. Growing up Senna was the man in my eyes, now I'm older I see Prost was equally great - they just went about their business in different ways. I never liked Schumacher because I kind of blamed him for pushing Senna so hard but he was only doing what Senna had done 10 years earlier, and for sheer skill he was as good as Senna - or very close!
Senna is saying directly to Prost at the end "damn, there were so many engine blows... I could not see..." with Prost acknowledging and then the video cuts unfortunately. So contrary to most people belief (entertained by media back then) they had exchanges.
Prost once said (end of 1988) Senna would be more relaxed after winning first world champion - his reply just (Aryton will try very hard) to confirm this never happen
Thats why im disappointed and I dönt like verstappen ön that high level anymore Than before 2021. Hé became Móré relaxed after winning first world champion
Only for Schumacher to miss out - not had a current champion with while winning the world championship - and playing superior after then, never had one to compete with
He did have a lot of competition though, not just in his championship winning years, but in the others where he was almost always in contention. Hill in 94 and 95 had the better car, Villeneuve in 97 too (though the gap was smaller), Hakkinen from 98 to 2000 as well (Schumacher would've likely won 99 if he didn't break his legs), McLaren and Williams with Kimi and Montoya respectively were very close in 2003, Alonso in 2005 and 2006.
Amazing to think this is the only time these three icons shared the rostrum 😢
Not amazing at all, one retired after skipping a whole season, and one died.
@@timyo6288 That makes no sense what so ever after reading the original comment .Can you actually read ?

Senna GOAT! Prost and Schumi, together with Fangio and Clark complete the top 5 in history, for me.
For me the GOAT is Schumi but yeah, the same 5 on my list.
Just the 14 world championships between them...
A record currently shared with five podiums involving Hamilton, Vettel and Verstappen. But at the end of this year those may be ahead.

you can see the respect from both Senna to Prost and Prost to Senna.

How on earth can you see that if you look at their body language.
Senna v Schumacher 1994-199.... fate robbed us.
The world wasn’t meant to see it.

These guys are so enigmatic, each with their own unique persona.
The three goats ! Nostalgia!❤❤
Wow 3 best drivers all time in my opinion !!!
Lewis Hamilton is the GOAT of all time

Would have loved for this video to carry on, to hear Ayrton & Alain conversing when they think the cameras aren't rolling.
podium of legends and that eurosport LIVE hits hard
damn wish we could hear more of their talk at the very end
4:54 hahaha Ayrton already knew it.

The big three, when f1 was f1
Prost the teacher, king of Strategy and set up cars
Senna the faster driver
Schumacher (superb)

@@mihalyzoltantoth9332 More relaxed in a good way though, meaning he's just more confident and in control.
Schumi much fitter than the grandpas beside him. 😂
