I think he needs Luna to take the nightmares away from him.
I think that Blathers's bug-phobia came from a bad experience in his childhood. In New Leaf, when you donate a bug, he says that it reminds him of something when he was young, but stops talking after that. Like maybe, the first time he caught a bug to eat, it was a praying mantis (like at the start of the game), and he almost died, and got a phobia because of that.
He talks about many bad experiences he has had, in Wild World. There is no one reason for his fear.
He was investigating some larvae and bugs came out of them and got all over him, so that's where the phobia came from

Hi i was wondering if you can do a Tragical story or the truth of timmy and tommy from animal crossing cuz ever since i got the game it got me wondering of there story
I’m not trying to be all smart about this but they were about 4 or 5 when they got kicked out of an orfanage (idk why) so they were homeless and living in a box (time skip to when Tom nook was in the city) after Tom got scammed by Redd that left Tom to be unable to pay his rent on his apartment which left him homeless as well. After Tom had a kinda stable life and found a place to live, he had found Timmy and Tommy (they were 8 by that point) he had known what it feels like to be homeless and couldn’t have imagined going through that at a young age. He had taken them in out of sympathy and love. He now takes care of them and they work for them. He also now donates to the old orfanige. I hope that clears that up!

Never been a fan of these style games. Feels like Ao Oni. I suppose the purpose of this game is just to make Blathers fear of insects and arachnids, into a rational threat. However, I feel that cluld have easily been accomplished in a much shorter game. I also feel that a lot more could have been done to really make this game stick out as creepy. Maybe have a giant spider silhouette crawl across a foreground wall at random, when the character enters a certain room enough time. Random events can really add a lot to a horror game. Much more than just wondering around rooms and seeing little splatters of blood. The ending was very melodramatic. Oh no! A tiny spider! This game has a lot of potential to be amazing. It’s a shame.
