trust me when i say you are missing NOTHING by dnfing things we never got over...the guy is a grump to the point where he's literally an ahole to h multiple times even up till the end and the h has nothing interesting going on other than getting coffees
it's hyped for no reason...
also absolutely agree i liked every summer after but the plot twist ruined it for me..also did you notice the whole conflict was resolved in like 4 pages and boom epilogue like wtf it kept them apart for so many years and then one ily fixed everything....also the way sam gaslighted himself by saying just because he didn't tell percy he loved her ..she went ahead and did that like omg noooo
