It makes me cringe watching an unsafe install by not removing the cowl, running a round bead. You struggled cutting out the bottom due to the same reason.. the cowl is all of an additional 2 minutes of work in the beginning and 2 at the end.

this is some very scary installation process. touching frit band with bare hands contaminating it. laying round beads is a big no no.
Don't you have to re-calibrate the side collision sensors?
