This seems to be a must have device... I am new to the hobby, as a first device I was looking at this and the anbernic rg35xx+, and ended up on the latter for the sligh more power and bild quality (basis on reviews, never touched either before getting the anbernic). Now wondering if it was the right choise, but still... I very much enjoy it when I have a little time to play.
Those are the burning questions all of us retro gaming enthusaists stress over, @frankysour. I couldn't decide either, so I ordered both (although I got the RG35XX H, the horizontal version of the Plus). On Discord I asked the retro handheld community and they strongly recommended the RG35XX Plus over the Miyoo Mini Plus. Ultimately I think the RG line is probably going to win out for me, since it's got more power and a better screen (brighter and better saturation and color accuracy). The Miyoo Mini Plus has better startup and resume features though, since the CFW is much more robust. Unfortunately it's a bit of a gamble since the CFW in still in development for the RGXX35 Plus line, and it will get better and better through CFW updates and hopefully surpass the Miyoo Mini Plus in the overall exerience. The clicky triggers on the RG line will never be my cup of tea though. I want to try both in bed and see how realistic it is to use next to my wife who is very particular about noise, and which one I am more drawn to taking on short trips, and if I miss being able to play N64 or if that's not a big loss for me. As far as the Miyoo Mini Plus' appeal, I think it's right now best as a smaller companion device, not a main device. If you're going for a first device, I think you made the right choice with the RG35XX+.
@@JamesPound hi, tanks for the extensive answer! So nice, thanks you. And you know what... While purchasing my rg35xxplus I was also curious about horizontal devices... The rg35xxh was announced when my device was already on its way, otherwise probably I would have gone with the H. On the bright side, from what I understood the shoulders noise of my plus should be more bearable to your wife respect to the H, maybe we should swap (I mean the devices, not the wives 😂)
I love my miyo mini plus! First retro handheld that I have got and its totally worth it!!! Can't wait to play ds on it!!
It’s an amazing handheld!
I didn't know there was a scraper! Thanks for showing it!
No problem!

I’m strongly considering buying the rg35xx+ because I keep hearing it’s better and I want to do a comparison review between the two.

What game is 6:36?
Golden sun the lost age. One of the best RPGs on the GBA in my opinion!
