Had tons of fun with the new BEAST. Really feels easy to tame it but the biggest thing what I felt it is really easy to have fun with it . Layes amazing in the corners, smooth wheelies, specially when you switch to the RAIN mode (recommend if you want to practice wheelies) amazing brakes etc. Hats off to the whole KTM team that was part of creating that new bike :D
Would you say this is the best bike to learn to do wheelies?

I absolutely love mine. Got it almost a year ago now. I had lots of premium bikes and rode a lot of premium bikes, this one is absolutely the best for sporty street riding. The engine is phenomenal, clutch and gear box action is precise. Quick shifter works well. Sounds awesome, comfortable, yet pegs and upper body positioned such that you can hang off and go through corners aggressively. Seat is awesome, tank shape is great to have proper support when hanging off. Ability to change to race shift pattern is freaking awesome and on a stock rear set. Design is on point, I get asked about the bike at every stop I make. It pulls wheelies like nothing else. Suspension is very good too and I love how changing it changes behavior. Some of the minor things that can improved upon: I do not use 6th gear at all, the engine does not have great harmonics in it at any speed, it is way too long, I guess it is made this way for top speed on track, luckily 5th is amazing. Indicator switch is vague. Stock steering dampener lacks adjustability for advanced riders. I had to put a power part dampener for stability reasons. Overall this bike made me KTM fan, it is really 9.5/10 bike and I am even considering buying the new 2021 Super Adventure R, which has the same engine.. it is that good folks.

@@xzistpo SF V4S isn't tuned. It only has a different exhaust. it comes stock from factory.
I bought this bike mid june and its just incredible can't find the words honestly the feeling of instant torque is just addictive and can't get enough of it you ktm nailed it !!!

I prefer this bike over the Streetfighter V4S, because you don't need to rev the beast so much to have a amazing acceleration

Bought one in June and still love it . The superduke may not have the headline bhp stats but on the roads that instant torque rules. Also the feel and confidence the chassis gives makes you feel like Rossi. This is my second superduke and the reliability on both has been perfect in over 10 thousand miles and for a 1301 cc engine really good gas mileage at around 120 miles to a full tank at naughty speeds. Bravo KTM.
Ktm makes a BEAST that can go on a beer run.
The idea of owning an absolute freak machine that is everyday livable is very appealing.

Suggestions for KTM DUKE 390 & KTM RC 390.
Kindly install or fit :-
Front tyre size - 120/70 - 17'
Rear tyre size - 160/60 - 17'
Dual disc brakes to Front Tyre.
Dual Cylinder Engine.
Reduce Engine heat.
Make sure - Stock tyre should be Metzler or Michelin Pilot Series..
Gears should be more smooth..
In KTM DUKE 390 and KTM RC 390.

As a 2018 owner, I was thinking of getting the 2020 until I read the fuel capacity has been reduced from the previous version. This is a big problem for my commute to work. Hopefully KTM can add that capacity back in in a future version. Until then, won't upgrade.

Got mine in August, very disappointed with steering dampener is useless. It's a must to upgrade if riding it hard.
@@geraldperry7779 If I were you I would just try a heavier fork oil in the steering damper. It helped a lot for me on a different bike with a nearly useless OEM steering damper.
All the engineering choices make sense. I like it. Still don't understand the meager warranty.
If there is any production bike on the current market I'd want: it is the 1290 Super Duke R.
