How is the noise from this monitor? Is the active cooling fan loud, does the mic pick it up?

Absolutely fine. It’s a 1080 display but for the price it looks very clean. You can control the fans via the settings and even switch it off entirely.

I use the Atomos Shinobi, and man is it just not good for the $300 I paid for it. I almost like my Feelworld F6+ monitor better, and it was only $180 or something.

Not the end of the world. You just need to buy an micro HDMI to Hdmi cable to use it with this monitor.
