To any of you reading this hopefully all of your gaming channels or any channel will grow successful and “always keep doing what you do and never give up.”
I’ve been watching your stuff since the beginning of this year along with Vidiq and I can say that it’s definitely helped me get to where I am now, which is 675 subs in 6 months! This video sums up exactly what I have done 😊 thanks for the video! And from one Aussie to another, keep up the great work!
This is basically why I started my channel. I wanted to see Baldur's gate content with more high end gameplay advice. But I couldn't find any.... so I tried to make my own and in a month I got over 2 million views now. Kinda crazy! But I'm having fun and didn't expect this level of success.
This advice is indeed pure gold. So many niches are oversaturated. This means you have to outcompete to become successful in such niches. Otherwise, you can grow massively in the shortest possible time with a niche that has high demand potential but low supply.
been a fan of the content this channel has produced for a while now but i still struggle to get the attraction to my videos i’d like (like most of us)! however, still working to make my content better & know that this will be achieved one day! if you’re seeing this, DONT GIVE UP! we all got this 🎉
I have one question that i think a lot of small creators are interested in. If i have 0 views, 0 subscribers and i want to make a video about a topic that doesn't exist on UA-cam, where will my viewers find my video? If i want to make a video about how people life's changed from 1950 to 2023. There are no keywords or specific audience for this. How can i make this work? Or how will this work on UA-cam, how UA-cam will find me viewers for my video, assuming it's a good video for everybody
I love how he always seeks advise from these top tier UA-cam guys and makes his content worthwhile to watch vs everyone else where I don't know what they are even talking about.
I recently started UA-cam, and my videos as of now are about Undertale, and I can feel people are watching it, since the relatively good supply is near zero but, demand is medium.
What’s your thoughts on shorts viewers/subscribers watching your longform? I make call of duty shorts and I’ve been doing well lately and I want to get into longform but I’m not sure how to get it to convert?
Ive just started but ive had some channels in the past(with not too much success) im hoping i can use what ive learned from you and vidiq to be successful on my gaming channel!
your content fits great with horror games niche , how did you get 300 subs by just 1400 views overall ? did you have subs before you began or you removed videos from your channel ? the subscribability on your channel is perfect if you had no subs beforehand and no other video
I had previous videos from a couple of years ago that did really well. I gained about 300 subscribers from back then and ended up quitting due to not having the best equipment. I'm back now and I gained about 25 subscribers in the span of two months but I'm just testing out things for my channel :)
I just recently switched games and seen a huge drop in views and subscribers but the game was just boring and getting extremely repetitive and toxic. It sucks to see but I’m going to play what makes me happy and I enjoy making the most
Your channel has really helped my own along with VidIQ. When I first found you’re channel in October I had 43 subs uploading 2-3 times a day with no editing and now I’m at 343 subs uploading 2-3 times a week with editing and according to social blade I’ll hit 1000 subs in March next year! Back in October it said I’d be at 250 in February 2024. Thank you!
Been growing my UA-cam channel working hard every week for the last 6 months. Just hit 200 subscribers! I also recently got a new microphone and really have been trying to bring up the quality. I ask my viewers to leave recommendations, and thoughts in the comments, but very rarely they do! Any tips to get subscribers to engage more?
I have a fortnite channel and I’m very good at the game, but the main content I’m making lots of people do, but I have no idea what content to make that’s different that many people don’t already do
Iv been wanting to making videos on fighting games, yet idk if it has an high enough demand, like Maximilian dood, but idk if the supply is enough, unless it’s super smash bros. Like yes street fighter 6 is huge, idk where the find a niche in that field that hasn’t been done yet.
I want to become a PC gamer, and in my country there are few pc gamers compared to huge size of mobile gamers. But in pc gaming area, there are huge youtuber with 10 million, 35 million, etc subs who play different gpc games regularly. So do u think it is a good idea to enter that space?
If I research my keywords, what is a good volume area we should be focusing on to ensure I am not in the bottom left quadrant with not enough demand? Typically my keywords only have around 2k - 3k search volume but I'm trying to understand if that will be too low. Its hard to assess my competition as they are more diverse in the games they play and I personally feel like my videos can appeal more to people who don't really want to watch streaming dumps. Oh and great video sir!
This makes sense. But let's assume that we are in a full niche and therefore niche down further into a brand new niche with no (or nearly no) creators. How do we tell if we have niched down into the bottom left quadrant where there is no demand and no supply or the top left quadrant where there is demand and little to no supply? Do we just have to try it out for a while, wait for our video, titling, and thumbnail quality to get good enough to be passable, and then give it a few months or a year to see if UA-cam can gradually find viewers that demand our new niche?
Just try something that you like doing and seems good. It's down to luck really. If you check out some channels, they maybe have 1 or 2 videos that did well and the rest has little to no views. Or they got lucky with a certain kind of videos but that's not because of low supply, it's because of overdemand (like recent videogames or movies or particular events that have millions of people talking about them). Pretty much any niche is saturated now (that's why I think this video is useless) and the ones that aren't get very little views because virtualy no one cares about them. Or maybe you find one with few channels doing it but chances are you aren't passionate about the topic. I mean most of the huge channels pretty much do the exact same thing and I don't find their content particularly good, but a lot of people watch them even if they're all basically the same. Just look at all the "side hustle" videos who are 99% dogshit but make millions of views easily. People click on those thinking they can learn how to get rich quickly but they don't because those videos are pure lies. They get a view from you and you get nothing in return.
Using your content to grow seems to be working? Slowly but surely.....got 2.7k views on a video out of nowhere yesterday...thanks for your service good sir.
hello! ive been in the game since 2018 and i stil havent grown.. ive never gave up but just take breaks. but now im serious about it. is there anyway i could get a tip from you? or just from anyone here really, thanks!
1. Make better thumbnails using text and inspiration from other creators. 2. Make sure the first 30 seconds of your video are interesting and keeps the viewer watching. 3. Make more niched videos so that you aren’t competing against creators with 1 M+ subscribers. 4. Be consistent. 5. Success.
I think the primary problem on UA-cam is that, ever increasingly, you need to be over-dramatic and theatrical to get views on UA-cam. Constant emojis, memes, different sounds, exciting effects, etc. UA-cam is no longer about quality content. It is much more about how theatrical (and therefore feminine) you are as a person. Hence why women and feminized men are dominating PPV platforms.
This is exactly what I was talking about before I started making these dayz meme videos.. bunch of views on average videos. So I tried my hand on it and I’ve gotten thouasands of views on my latest content.

i listened through the video but how about this, I went to my YT analytics today and I saw now YT implemented what instagram and tik tok do. But yeah what are your thoughts on that?
