Definitely not a one man job! I do remember though replacing a gearbox on a Fiat 131 single handed, I had one side of the car on the kerb for clearance, shuffled under the car with the gearbox on my chest and used my knees to get it into position before bolting it home!
That flywheel is not in the correct place 😀😀

Is the new "dual mass" of a better design than the original Or just as bad? Once the clutch is sorted looks like there's a lot of welding to do.
It's an OEM spec dual mass. Should last another 100k..... Hopefully! Only a few a scabby bits really, nothing major 😬

PS: That's the crank position sensor... the cup that goes over the crank on the N47 diesel has a magnetic strip... I put mine on backwards... cost me £1800 in garage bills after I gave up (after a few weeks of head scratching as to why it wouldn't start)... I had the engine out to do the timing chain 🤦🤦🤦
