    I noticed your TX16S has the screen on at all times. You can save a little battery life with a quick setting change. The setting is under (SYS / Radio Setup / scroll down to Backlight / change Mode to "Keys" and choose how long you want the screen to stay on). If you need to check screen just roll your jog wheel real quick. This was a really cool video, you fly very smooth and are really good at getting these cinematic shots.

    I.. LOVE this distinction between inside and outside. For inside, you might as well walk it and carry something and get a way better result than a cinewhoop. For outside, use fpv. I’m also more and more interested in Medlin head trackers for up and down. Opens up a lot of new shots

    Agree 100% on the auto settings making things look amateurish. I avoid real estate work in general as I simply find relators to be too cheap for the level of production called for to really do it right. The right way to do fly-throughs IMO is to fly multiple overlapping takes with locked in settings for each lighting condition, and then hide your cuts by masking in places where you pass objects in front of the camera. But that approach takes more planning of each shot and more work in the edit. One other tip, if you don't own an incident light meter, consider investing in one. Makes it very easy to get correct exposure and determine what ND filter value is called for. Just set your shutter speed and ISO and take a reading, and however many stops brighter than an f/2.8 it reads, is how many stops of ND are needed. Of course, in direct sunlight it's always the same exposure, so just remember the sunny 16 rule and life is good.

    You're spot on with this aproach, handheld is way better for inside shots. Makes for way better quality especially because you can use a much better camera for it. The large wide angled lenses on the action style cams often make inside spaces look a bit strange.
    I've been in design, photography and film making for 25 years now. I like a good edit, gives you much more control over the narative. That 'one shot' aproach is sort of a fab fase imo. It's new to most people, so everyone thinks that's what they need but it isn't asked for or the best choice in most cases.
    In this case the objective is just to make the property look as attractive as possible. Not shooting for an oscar ;-)
    I really like that you keep a level head on this. That kind of thinking will be very helpfull going forward in this business.

    I personally disagree with the indoor being better with a walkthrough. You’re right that most of it looks amateur because most of these pilots are simply not good enough to do good fly throughs…. Takes a skilled pilot to do it right! I can run a drone through a house in one quick take and be done in 10 mins. Real estate videos are disposable and once the house is sold, the video is discarded. I honestly try to avoid real estate for this reason and focus on the promotional side because it’s often going to get more hits in the long run. Just my 2 cents.

    • @AleeshaFPV
      @AleeshaFPV  2 роки тому

      No.. that's not what i meant, the pilots doing them can fly great, usually. It just looks like garbage from a professional perspective.
      i see what you're saying but often times realtors can use this content over again as marketing for themselves on why they can be a good fit for their clients.

      @@AleeshaFPV no hate on my end though, houses here sell so quick that there isn’t much money in real estate for fpv for sure. Real estate is kinda its own thing, and I only do it when I have to hahah. I’m about to do a couple just because it’s been a slower month with some expenses hahaha. I’ve always been a photographer as well, but my real estate photos don’t look great, I don’t have that commercial eye, I’ve always been more of the weird artsy vibe and I’ve found realtors don’t really appreciate that hahahha

    Those birds were pissed! In the end you actually almost collided with one when you came in to land. Kinda shitty but nothing you can do about it since had to get shots for the gig. I woulda just packed up and left if I flew there recreationally because of the aggro birdies.
    Anyway, I agree with your point that often inside, an FPV shot is worse than a good wide angle a-cam gimbal shot. But sometimes, it isn't.

    Sooooo refreshing seeing a woman doing this! Anything technology needs to have a greater share of female representation. I fully applaud you and your skills are second to none. Very well done and I’m subscribing to your channel.
