    Sorry, NOT ALL RICE !! Avoid par boiled rice !!
    Par boiled rice have less carbohydrates or sugar content so fermentation is not good and sticky rice is good because of opposite reason and i found risotto rice best for chang.. And if you have relatives in north America then ask them to send chinese phaap (yeast) its actually steamed bun yeast but good for making chang, makes the chang sweet.
