it's great to see your video about the lowrider ST. last year i was deciding on which model to buy was the lowrider or sportsglide or heritage & decided on the heritage so when i heard about the this year lowrider ST i thought oh bugger i should have waited but seeing your video of the ST i see there were no gauges inside the fairing & got 3 ventilation holes i thought that's not right & cost aussie $35,000 here where my 2021 heritage only cost me $32,000 ex demo( retail $34,000) i'm glad i made the right choice also i liked the long front guard it'll protect the oil cooler & the regulator & a detachable windshield it was handy for riding in winter. thank for your video cher bro 😁

Yes, a sublime build. If I'd seen those pipes on their own in a catologue I would have been a bit dubious about them but seeing them on that bike, they were a perfect fit I reckon.

Contrats! Pleased for you that in the end it worked out! I think the regret of not purchasing would in the end have been worse than the small amount of monthly financial wallet pain of ownership. Pleased also that the dealership treated you both so well, and yes the Sport Glide seat actually looks better on the bike than the stock ST seat. Enjoy the new "big boy" toy. My son was interested in an ST until we found out that there is not one to be had in Western Canada. Every unit coming into dealerships is spoken for with deposits on them.
For now I continue to be content with my Sport Glide! ;o)
Cheers dude. Yes, that seat is beautifully proportioned for the ST. I know you have an aftermarket seat now but how did you find the stock Sport Glide seat on longer journeys?
@@MisterKiwiRider Lots of people "complain" about the stock seat, but I found it quite comfortable overall and never had a sore butt after a long ride.
I am still breaking in the Saddlemen SDC seat; so it present I miss the plusher comfort of the stock Sport Glide seat, but do enjoy the locked in feeling of the Saddlemen seat and the slightly narrower profile as it tapers to the gas tank as I have short legs. Both seats have some +/-
But I think you will be very happy with the Sport Glide stock seat over all! Look forward to watching some future reviews and ride uploads from you on ST. TBH, when it first was released, I hated the look of the front faring; BUT it is fast growing on me and like you, with forward pegs, different seat from the stock single seat I can picture it replacing the Sport Glide down the road possibly; if supply catches up to demand that is.
Son #2 just purchased his first bike 3 weeks ago - 2019 Iron 883 in all black and the bike came with a front faring and tall sissy bike plus only had 1063KM's on it (yup not even broken in...) So maybe when he is ready to move up to a bigger bike, he can take over the Sport Glide and I will go for an ST ;o)

Aww, its such a good feeling for sure. This ST range is stellar. Jason, the dealer principle has the ST Road Glide that has been amped up to the 131 and all cammed and tuned up. Its a beast!

Thanks brother, I got pretty dark there for a while but as soon I got on the Sportster on Saturday, I knew I'd be right. Then riding that behemoth of a Low Rider S and finally the Low Rider ST, I felt back to my old self. I hope you are good my friend :D
@@MisterKiwiRider i am still a bit apprehensive in the rain ,got caught in heavy rain going to Belfast Harley open day as it was similar weather when i ended in the hedge , weather been rubbish this summer in N.Ireland ,rain and more rain ,tip from my father who was a car / motorbike instructor ,if something is lying on the road always look to the left or right of it cause if you look at it you will hit it , enjoy many miles on the new bike and Relle must looking forward to taking over Cherry ,repect👊 and best wishes Dave ,"Harleyman1340"

I was nervous for a minute there too! At least I know now that it is definitely what I wanted :D As far as the Roar goes, I just realised we haven't even looked into it! We might have missed our opportunity for tickets I suspect

Yes! 💪🏼🤘🏻 you're gonna love this bike! Give the mids a chance. I had reservations when I first rode mine but after getting used to them I love it! You will lose some road clearance in the turns with forwards but not much. It'll be much like the street bob as far as when you will or won't scrape. Congrats to Relle as well for moving to the street bob although the black widow will be missed. She put a ton of love into that one so I know this was a tough set of decisions to make. But that's part of motorcycling life.. you love them, change them, and sometimes trade them. Now just be mindful of your feet as you get off and on the low rider as to not scuff the bags lol. I speak from experience 🙄😂
Cheers JT. In terms of the mids I just know that I won't get used to them. I'm old and not very flexible and lack the stretchy tendons to ride for a long period of time in the pretzel position ;D Haha, as for the whole feet thing, I already learned that the hard way on Saturday sadly. It's a good thing it's mine now!

Based on the current exchange rate we paid the equivalent of $23,200 US dollars
