Becoming A Missile Spammer For 1 Hour

- Since launch, crab tank has had the spotlight in Splatoon 3's meta. Unfortunately, thanks to the map design it slows the game to a crawl and makes any game with splash o matic's a pain to play for many. Today I decided to fix this issue by spending one hour playing every tenta missile weapon with only special charge up gear.
I didn't anticipate this to be a challenge, as it turns out painting the map and optimizing special output is really hard. I played a lot of terrible games and got pretty tilted, losing my mind over the smallest setbacks. Despite all this insanity, I was occasionally still able to make some insane plays (i.e. painting spawn for missiles after dying literally one time).

This should of been called “being a intercontinental ballistic missile for 1 hour”.
All chargers are very high skill weapons, which is why I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole
Go at them with a brella, they can't do anything about it, especially if you're not getting any lag & the canopy decides to actually have proper collision for at least a few seconds.
I remember there was a long range splattershot weapon in the first game I used to get sniper range instead of chargers

We know now that those three missle weapons will still be the only ones in the fresh season. Imagine if it just stays like that for all of splatoon 3, lol
Honestly I kinda wouldnt mind. It would be like when splatoon 2 stopped adding stingray weapons
Super Chump might've been created to substitute missles for any future kits, which I would be really glad about.

As a Reef-Lux main myself, it’s a fun weapon. Reef-lux is both an offensive, and a turf covering weapon. The turf coverage is a much more focused aspect of the weapon, but you can get a 1 shot kill, if all the ink things hit the target. But when covering turf, you want to angle your camera down towards your feet for the best coverage. And no, the faster you hit ZR does not mean the faster it hits. So Reef-lux is a hybrid weapon I have grown to enjoy because of the kill potential and range of the shot, and the turf coverage if people do a horrible job on turfing.
We don't need a detailed assessment of the smallest stringer in the game. But, OK.

Not that it matters much, but you definitely don't want to be looking down when trying to paint with the reeflux. Your best amount of paint you can get in a single shot will come when aiming forward

Dunno if you'd ever do this again, but a suggestion. Run this again, but drag in a second player and have them use Tacticooler.

While I am not a sniper main, I do play it often and it is probably my second most used class behind sloshers.
Your problem seems to be getting too close to the action and not knowing when to fall back. The Goo Tuber is best used to store a charge, quickly moved up and a shit taken, then a quick retreat.
It really isn't that useful as a spammer as it has probably the worst intangibles of the chargers.

Goo tuber was always the hardest weapon to aim with. Out of all of the chargers it was the most difficult. My solution to this problem? Just throw out the game.

Reeflux mains do this on a daily basis unless they are completely cracked at the game
Even if you're one of the reef-lux players who can actually hit one shots, you'd still just be better off playing tri stringer or charger, you're still just playing reef over those for missiles and missiles alone

The only charger I can play is bambozaler, I know its kinda bad but its not as bad as you think, you non charged spam shot as as much range as a full charge, and yes it has the shortest range but about the range of a vertical dinomo swing, which isn't bad.

also the reason you probably weren't doing so great at gootuber in clam blitz is because chargers are like the least good weapon choice when it comes to clam blitz because evryone has to contribute in the front lines for the most part, also the fact that most chargers dont move too much (unless you're cracked asf) which clam blitz calls for the player to do
