Why You Should Never Play E Liter in Splatoon 3

- I've always opted for playing more aggressive frontline weapons throughout my time playing splatoon, and aside from a few one off games haven't even touched chargers. How big of a trainwreck would it be if I decided to start playing the most brutally punishing sniper without any preparation?
As you could probably guess, the games I played went extremely poorly. I missed most of my shots, and even when I did finally start getting the hang of it, I was barely managing to keep a neutral k/d. Can my team mates carry me to victory or will I keep losing for almost a full hour? (spoiler: I keep losing)
Sorry for the nearly 2 month long period of silence, I've been really busy with school but once my exams end I want to put all of my effort into videos and streams, we are so back.

I am happy to see that other people struggle as well when thinking „yeah I should try a charger even tho I usually play aggressive front liner“ and trying it out.

i just bought e liter. as an inkbrush main. it went exactly like this LMFAO my brain just cant process how the guns are supposed to be used💀
This is very relatable. I've been an Octobrush main for years, but now that I've been practicing with E-Liter for months, I actually quite like it and may make it my second main. It took a while to practice aiming more, but it's quite fun. I wish you luck!
For everyone trying to start with snipers here are some basics: Try to charge behing cover or small ledges (like on Bunker on Manta) and try to right-side-peek on cover or go for jumpshots over these small ledges. You got the best chance, if the enemy has no idea on where you are. Positioning is at least as important as your aim, since you pressure the enemys a lot just with your range. Also, dont forget to retreat if your got a huge playerdisadvantage (2v4 for example) to be a beacon for your team or to jump out if you get downrushed.
To the unscope player (because I noticed it sometimes): If you try to camp someone on ledges, don't hold the laser all the time in there direction. Use the chargehold to hide it and to look around you, if you're getting flanked. For the scopeplayer: There is nothing wrong about going in your ink sometimes in such a situation (especially with the splatterscopes) to get a full view on what's happening around you.
As a Backline and especially a charger you want to know where the enemy team is the most so you don't get flanked etc. You want to look around a lot.
And the most important thing: Never give up!

you know this reminds me of how my friend told me my main had little aim skills necessary, so i learned e-lieter to prove them wrong. This was back in splatoon 1

My only reason to not use respawn punisher is that. Everyone wants us dead so I’d rather not make them target me even more.
Sup! I’m an e-liter main, my one tip is to get used to the weapon in a less competitive environment(like turf war or pbs) also just keep practicing if you stop practicing you’ll lose all your progress.

Gotta say I sucked at this weapon too. I mostly used snipers in this game and struggled all day. My solution to that problem is to just quit. Haven’t played in months and I couldn’t be happier. Don’t do drugs people.

I think this vid is saying we should play E-Liter more. Its the reverse psychology title, I see. We all see you're improving a little. Don't stop the character development, accept the E-Liter fate.
As a semi Eliter 4K main with 2200 points on X Rank here is a little tip for yall that want to try this cool weapon, practice for at least 1 hour in the test range, then go to turf war and test yourself. Thats how I did it lmao, and also you can use whatever sensitivity you feel comfortable with. And also, trust in your shots, even if you miss.

im actually trying to learn e-liter as a ROLLER main and its actually not that hard for me. also a tip: STACK QUICK SUPER JUMP. it makes it so much easier to get out of danger

A few charger tips for anyone who wants to learn chargers: practice shots before you even start a match, don't go straight into a match without having practiced normally your hands are not warmed up and you will feel awkward if you haven't practiced. Also don't go straight to ranked if you don't think you are ready for that yet, if you find you are still missing shots that feel like they are easy then play a few turf matches and see how you do to determine if you feel ready enough for ranked. I'd suggest not starting out on e-liter because if you miss a shot its kinda unforgiving I'd suggest splat charger or z+f splat charger depending on what kit you prefer. They have faster charge times and make it easier if you miss a shot where you can have one charged up and try again.
As for positioning that really depends on the map and your own personal opinions, but normally chargers do best when you are up high (except squiffer, not a squiffer user tho) and looking over mid but obviously you can position to something you like better
(i am not the best at positioning and don't really know what i am doing when i have to position myself so take my advice about this with a grain of salt)
This is from someone who has been playing backlines since Splatoon 3 came out and really only plays nautilus and z+f splat charger (learning tri-stringer)
Eliter 3k was called 4K cause its new ink efficiency gave it 4 shots instead of 3.

Also when I first picked up chargers back in s2 it was hard but after watching a tutorial from Brian I was in the testing range and all the sudden aiming just clicked and my aim all the sudden got better

wiper main. i can already sort of slightly aim, tried out some chargers recently. i got down with splat charger, sort of with goober, not really bamboo, and squiffer is my new secondary main. Liter is just ridiculously hard to understand, i do NOT get it whatsoever

This weapon shouldn’t be in the game 😭 it’s so annoying to fight a good eliter and it’s so hard to use. It’s basically just capitalism with squid guns (rewards high level players and low level players can’t use it)
