- Join me whilst i explore the biggest night street market in Osu Accra. They call it the Osu night market , its 24 hours and they sell most local foods. They also music entertainment almost like a street party with food.
My stomach would only allow me to try the following 😅👇🏾
Kalewale 🍌 🌶️
Chopped fried ripe plantain seasoned in peppers and ginger which gives it a nice spicy kick with some nice flavours 5 Cedis
Kenkey 🍲
Native dish for the Ga tribe that originate from Accra . Kenkey is made from corn doe and eaten with ground red peppers and shito ( dark chilli sauce ) with chopped red onions 10 Cedis
Kebabs /BBQ🍗🍖🥩
Almost like suya , various grilled meats ranging from pork chicken , guinea fowl, beef with a sprinkle of hot powder and onions . Best eaten over some drinks. 15 Cedis
Adonko🥃
One of the local strong spirits sweet with a bitter after taste 42%
This marker is located off Oxford Street Osu and the road is called Basel Street.

I heard you have to buy the shito with kenkey, nowadays.
Everything was included, only think I had to buy extra was the fish but the shito and pepper sauce and onions where all inclusive
