Thank 😊 you, Franz! I'm going to purchase these, maybe tonight, if I can make up my mind if I need the Polychromos, as well! I will buy the 36 of each set... I have my cart filled at Blick's! Not sure if I need both now... my granddaughters have a set of colored pencils (Arteza) here and thought maybe I could get by with those for a while! Appreciate the tip on sharpening, after I just sharpened all the Arteza pencils! HA! There were 48 ... but they looked to pointed. Back to using my hand-held Faber Castell colored pencils sharpener! Good thing I saw this before the AD arrived! I'll be checking out your site... subscribed... a big thank you from a California Gramma ❤️
Thank god by the time you got to the graphite aquarelle, you had learned to move the waterbrush from the lightest to the most saturated (pigment-filled) area in your gradients!
Have you ever tried Catan D'Ache water brushes they come in a set of three if you haven't try them they're great . What kind of paper would you suggest to use with Polychromos? I also have Albrecht Durer watercolor . What are you talking about when you said the pigment color is on the end of the pencil can you please explain that also some recommendations for different papers that faber Castelle works best with?
Similar. The difference is these are watercolor (whereas Inktense are, well, ink like the Goldfaber Aqua line ). So once dry, these can be rewet and worked with like normal watercolor.
I found it rather tedious, I'm afraid. 🥴 And couldn't they have found a nicer subject matter to paint?! This doesn't really illustrate what these beautiful pencils are capable of...
Magical. Its tough for a starving artist to see such things. Be greatful everyone.

Too long for nothing without explaining all the possible possible applications for artist review, but it is a good video for beginners!
