Well...my problem with the movie... It wasn't... pardon the pun"Hardcore"- which is the title of another Paul Schrader film....by the way... The film he just made before Gigolo..matter of fact.. It wasn't hardcore enough... More explicit...more sexual.... Especially for someone in that life... In the end..it morphs into a murder mystery love story... It's good to see a brotha Bill Duke in a film But that was Gere's movie
