Glad you enjoyed it!
How's the engine?
Great job!
Thanks!
Great video thanks! Started one today and couldn't believe they don't sell it as one piece!
Yup.. what a shame !
Damn good video.
@gregbrooks6318 thanks! More to come!
I really dont think it was necessary to replace the rear body panel you could have pulled it out more and gently massaged the kink back into place.
gotta love japanese cars...built in 2016 and some parts are rusty as on a 40yr old one.. now honda fanbois hurt me plenty
How much would be the cost of repairs of such rear ended Honda Civic 2019 ?
Amazing work by the way 👍 GG
Parts cost about 3000 and 2000 in labor. Thanks!

How do you know where to mark your spot welds? Randomly mark the new beaver, then just sand everything on vehicle? Im looking for way to not sand everything to save time
Yes, sand all on the vehicle side, then I match up the old panel and use a paint marker. I show how in this video here: ua-cam.com/video/Nmpm1UZYOd8/v-deo.htmlsi=4bppeSoi1ZoUYMle
Can anybody tell me what the name of that machine is that pulling the frame back into place??
It's a Wedge clamp pulling system. It requires anchors in the floors.
That's a big-arse spot welder! You need a good breakfast for that ;-)
Oh yes
How much in labor and parts?
this total job was about 5000
3000 in parts
2000 in labor
Wow!!!prices are insane
How is a piece of sheet metal, seam sealer, paint, and the crash bar 3,000?
How? They are OEM. Buying them from the dealer costs a lot. However, the other option is a donor car which is usually a wrecked car with the same body parts that can be salvaged. These are a lot cheaper.
👍🏻
where do you buy the replacement panels?
@@tonyjimenez9721 straight from our local dealerships
What product did you use to coat (Grey spray) the rear body panel and the edges of the extensions
Etch primer. To protect the bare metal until it goes to prep/paint
Thanks very much
Good repair job.
Thanks 👍
Great work mate .. Love your spot welder.. Any info on where to get one.. cheers John in Australia
It's the Pro spot 101. Runs off of 4 batteries!
Check out their website. I'm sure there's a dealer in your area
