Cobden Primary School perform 'Solutions' by Sophia Dady at The Loughborough Bell Foundry

As part of the 'Kids in Museums' day (where the children take over museums across the country), we are here at The Bell Foundry in Loughborough, with the children of Cobden Primary School, to hear their take on 'Solutions'! The enthusiastic stamp on the floor is so powerful that it even made our cameraman shake! In fact, I'm sure the whole world was listening after this spectacular performance! Well done Cobden School, you have nailed it - so a very big thank you on behalf of the Planet 🌍.

Sophia was born and raised in Buckinghamshire by her much loved and respected parents, William Dady (artist and sculptor b.1938 - d.1989) and Elizabeth Dady (accomplished musician and teacher b.1944 - d.2005). Sophia inherited both of these creative skills and drawing on her own life experiences, enriches a powerful story both musically and visually.
Sophia Dady is a UK singer/songwriter/musician with a diversity of influences which derive from trad jazz, pop, folk, and strong ties with Tori Amos and Kate Bush. Her music has a unique combination of styles which intertwine between 70’s funkadelica, 80’s pop, and contemporary folk, but also feels like something completely fresh and new.

I like the idea of the Kids in Museums day.
The "Solutions" will be found with big business who's goal is to create a profit. Sadly the environment side is lost in this.
The solutions are not complex, they are simple. Its the putting into action that will be complex and painful all round.
Ban Jets travel, Ban Mobile phones, Ban plastics. That will make a big 'positive' impact on the Environment.
Is that going to happen?

Very true! Sadly, the younger generation are becoming so down with all the news and feel there is no hope - I am hoping to lift the spirits with this song and to inspire action! There is so much negativity and we need to move forward in a positive way (and like you say) with simple solutions. xx
