Sophia reminisces about the Christmas story that her mother spoke of while she was sat at her bedside many years ago. Grateful thanks to Rev'd David Harknett and the congregation of All Saint's Church, Hoby, for the opportunity to perform this live at their Christmas Carol Service.

Thanks for your feedback. When I was younger, I remember the snow, the dark nights and feeling excited and scared all at the same time and hence the dark undertone. Also, I guess, I'm looking back on my past as a child with a sadness as I've had to grow up and move on. Yes, I agree, it does sound depressing 😉🤣. I will try and write a happier one next year 😉.
