What are your thought about the new EULA drama? I did not play KSP for a while and now that the DLC is out I wanted to check the reviews and came to the EULA stuff and so i'm not sure I will ever re-download it.
Random rescue scenario : A Kerbonaut has been stranded on [insert random planetary body] in an SSTO. The vessel's engines were damaged beyond repair on landing. Electrical and any RCS systems are fully functional for atmospheric gliding and basic orbital manoeuvrers. The vessel MUST be recovered with the Kerbonaut. The SSTO still has enough fuel on board that would have been used for the return to Kerbal and may be transferred to the rescue vessel. Go on, you know you want to.
I have an idea for a new ksp mini-series sort of like the blunder birds. You would call it "Will it work?" and pretty much what you do is you take the creations that subscribers have made and you fly them. As you fly them you would have your own commentary and suggest improvements, and tips on common mistakes that happen while building. If you give it a good rating at the end, then you might use it for a future mission on your channel.

Interesting SSTO, funnily enough I've actually been working on a similar looking Space Plane (Not technically an SSTO in my case since it drops empty fuel canisters). If your focusing on aesthetics one recommendation I might be able to make to you is for the Nuclear Engines: At the back of the Mk2 Decoupler where it splits attach either Mk1 Liquid Fuel Fuselage or the Structural Fuselage pieces, then attach an FL-A10 Adapter (the .625-1.25 adapter piece in the structural tab) backwards so it slants facing the back of the SSTO, then attach the Nuclear Engine and use the move tool to slide the engine into the fuselage bit so the small gray ring right above the engine nozzle is left visible next to the adapter. This is a trick I love to do but has some limitations, namely you can't use it (effectively) if you plan to attach a decoupler to the engine, the orange bit from the nuclear engine still pops through so you'll want to rotate the engine to hide it, and sometimes for whatever reason the black and yellow caution ring on the nuclear engine clips through the fuselage (I consider this one more of a glitch as 95% of the time this doesn't happen after moving it into the fuselage).

Was actually a while back about to ask you to save my poor Jeb in Science mode orbiting in a heavily elliptical orbit around Kerbin and in threat of being slingshotted past the Mun a second time (practically infinite jetpack fuel is pretty useful when you really need it)
CKAN...solves 95% of your problems, and adds another 10%. In the end, you will be a winner! I've been playing KSP since 0.24, and after the Nth time of reinstalling mods, I started to look into CKAN. It's a library that handles your different KSP installs (I'm currently still playing a career play in 1.2.0) and filters between compatible and incompatible mods (at least, the 99% of the worthwhile mods that registered themselves in CKAN). Yesterday I've finally switched from a laptop to a dedicated gaming pc: finally able to run EVA and Scatterer @ the same time. Setting up the visual mods just a matter of typing the names in the searchbar and checking the 'install' box: 2 minutes at most. Only problem is that,i in my experience, CKAN sometimes bugs out on older installs. Downloading a new version of CKAN , removing Mods and re-installing mods by CKAN solves most issues.

Great design for this one. Can you make an ssto with small rockets downwards ? So you can land in more stylish way directly on the wheels, and not just let the ship bounce on the gears. It woud be cool. ;)

This craft could have been a more effective high orbit Earth-toEath airline space plane, if it could detach from the middle as a smaller two phase flight, like the spaceX concept, this one would take off a runway, sore into 3miles range almost vertical with only jet engines burn usage, from there switch from to it's back middle rockets to reach peak orbit, break away the front shuttle split middle, the front(second phase) would then travel full path orbit and dive breaking backward after re-enter, then manuver to low level run way landing glide. While that passenger shuttle had began orbit, the first back craft with large wings would dive into atmosphere half way on the task, backwards verticle, but save energy swiveling from vertical entery to glide mode instead of vertical land back to station start, it would also save a bundle in re-attach cycle task vers all vertical mode(because of gravity), easier quicker safer and cheaper then the spaceX pure-vertical time phase.

Recently I did a mun mission to the what I call the northern mountain at the poles was quite hard to land the craft had a low thrust to Weight ratio
