You’ve heard the saying, ‘they don’t make it like they used to,’ well you can’t say that about this jacket. The Pack Animal Adventure Jacket is inspired by the heavy waxed harsh weather gear that was popular in the early 1900’s. From soldiers to hunters to longshoremen, waxed canvas or “oilcloth” was prized for being hardwearing and shedding water keeping the wearer dry. The vintage ‘field jacket’ design makes this jacket both a stylish classic, and amazingly functional.
The Adventure Jacket will get better with wear as the 16oz canvas breaks in and conforms to your body. It’s unlined, so it’s perfect for layering over a flannel or sweater, and sports 4 inside pockets. Brass snaps keep you battened down tight on the outside, plus two bonus hand pockets give your mitts shelter from the wind.

Looks Great. How long should the wax last before I have to re-wax it?
@@andrewhancock5433 Depends on how hard you wear it, but for most people the wax should last a year at least with moderate wear. re-waxing is super easy though. Look up Otter wax fabric wax

Just got my jacket a couple days ago. Got the Medium, and found the arm length great, but really tight in the arm pit. Paid $120 on eBay for a new one with tags. Gonna reserve judgment, as it seems to need breaking in … 🤷🏻♂️
