I've used almost a whole bar on a single pair of 100% cotton jeans and I'm still not getting this kind of shine..

How do you get that stiff cardboard texture? I used Otter Wax bar with a hand dryer like demonstrated here and it absorbs straight into the fabric similar to what @user-xb5gh9ff1d describes . My jacket didn't have that stiff texture. Just a slight change in color. Then when I tried adding another layer, I tried to leave some wax on and it now has this tacky almost wet texture. I'm thinking maybe I need to use the heat activated wax dressing to get that stiff texture like @soilarz describes happened to him? Thanks!

Is this the same for waxed jackets that are lined?

I just did this with a mundane 50/50 beeswax/paraffin wax combo, then tossed it into the dryer for 20 min and it worked great 👍

I wish I could wear a jacket like that at work unfortunately, how my mechanic love being a mechanic, but I would get battery acid and chemicals all over it

I tried otter wax on a jacket that wasn’t waxed canvas and it was a miserable struggle. Guess its meant to bolster an existing base of wax!

I purchased your Bridger Jacket. It’s constructed like a tank

You guys make this too hard. Put your jacket on a table outside on a hot day. Melt the wax and apply it to the jacket with a small sponge, keep the wax melted as you do it. Work it into seams and around pockets, buttons and hems. It will give an even proof and look great. Hang up the jacket in the sun for an hour, then hang up inside for it to settle in. You will get an even treatment. If you've missed a bit just re-melt some wax and apply.

Can't seem to consistently soften my waxed jacket. I have warmed it up multipletimes, but it's like cardboard after it cools. Any help is much appreciated.

Just got my jacket a couple days ago. Got the Medium, and found the arm length great, but really tight in the arm pit. Paid $120 on eBay for a new one with tags. Gonna reserve judgment, as it seems to need breaking in … 🤷🏻‍♂️

This bag is almost perfect. I wish you kept the compression straps of the rally pack. Also making the leather straps on the top of the bag longer would have allowed us to stash a jacket or blanket underneath. Could have added for a lot more functionality. Maybe thoughts to keep in mind for a 30L pack down the line?

Do NOT buy from this company. Their bags are poorly made, Chinese crap. Weak flimsy zippers and bad stitching. They feel like cheap bags or purses you'd find at TJ Max. Customer service doesn't return emails so once you click purchase, you're stuck. Any good comments or reviews you'll find online are from people somehow affiliated with the company. At this price range MANY better products out there. STAY AWAY.
