Yes, the spiker have to jump around the same time or even before the setter touch the ball. But the setter have toss the ball really fast too, thats why in haikyuu hinata - kageyama fast attack its very rare or maybe the only one, because kageyama is the setter with fast tosser and many spiker can't be at the same pace with his set

At 1:52 I was in that building it’s in Chicago, I was volunteering there, it was supper cool I got to toss the ball to the players before they served, and met them all afterwords. (USA, Canada, Japan and China national team)

@dashita ofure so basically i know a guy personally who’s involved in this, and his son was volunteering, so he invited me to tag along with him, we had the option of tossing balls to servers or wiping sweat spots, i always opted for tossing balls to servers😂
