These guides have been fantastic helps in an endless list of cheeses, although there's one thing I didn't see here. How do you dodge the homing star orb? That thing just keeps coming.
I got SUPER lucky this attempt and it just never came out. I'm wondering if it's like Rykard's head burial attack, where it can't be dodged, but can be prevented. Any attempt where Elden Stars did come out, I just tried my best to run away from it and out-heal the damage. I wish I had better advice, truly. I think staying close to the boss whenever possible may prevent it from being cast.
Sadly this does not help me whatsoever. I've done less than 10 attempts and had a run where I beat Radagon with 9 flasks left. And before that I had 1 where I had only 2 flasks left so I figure I try learn Elden Beast on my first attempt but actually dealt 60% so figured I can do it once I had 9 flasks. Was doing well until Elden Beast did some bullshit yellow attack that just tracks you for an hour while you try to get away from that and dodge that the Elden Beast continues doing other attacks, it's one of the dumbest things I've ever seen in any of their games. Great game but man Malenia bs Flurry attack and now this boss with a bs attack really soured the end game for me as a player who loves the games for the boss fights exclusively.
Congratulations on finishing the game! I hope it inspires you to try out the other games in From Software's catalogue. And thank you for the Super Thanks!!!!
After 150+ hours I’m not in a hurry to revisit this game after beating Malenia and this boss. 10/10 for sure but these bosses are brutal. At least you can make a few mistakes with Isshin, Soul of Cinder, Gerhman, Moon Pressence, Friede, Orphan, whoever. These endgame bosses just swarm you and their combos will pretty much one shot you if you get caught in them and they have a LOT of combination attacks. I’m in the middle of new game+ but I’m mentally exhausted. Gonna take a break and play Kirby lol.
you were spared an attack where he sends out a bubble of light that follows you and continues to spurt out guided missiles which lasts for quite a bit. the boss also stopped to swing his sword more than usual. good rng tbh.
I noticed that if you stay close to the boss, the odds of it casting Elden Stars is lower. I could be wrong though, as I've watched a lot of no-hit runs since making this guide, and the runners always reset once he casts the spell, and it's almost expected that they're going to have to attempt it a few times because of it. So yea, there's definitely RNG, but I felt like I was able to manipulate it a bit.
I absolutely hate this battle! Bosses where I spend the entire "fight" chasing the enemy make me want to uninstall the game. The Elden Beast is easily the worst boss in the game and after more than 20 failed attempts I have decided to take a break from this game for a while. The irony is that Malenia took 2 weeks and well over 100 attempts to beat, but I didn't get nearly as upset because she was fun to fight.
Epic 😃 I managed to down the Elden Beast after watching this guide. Golden Greatshield + fiery Blasphemous Blade build :) I’m around level 170, with 60 vigor, 48 endurance, 34 Strength, 27 mind, & 46 faith. This game’s my new favourite, & I’m looking forward to Shadow of the Erdtree ☮️❤️Thanks again Johnny, & Elden Ring’s creators. I’m watching the credits now 🙏🏽
He also very rarely will use a grab attack too where he picks you up in a golden orb and shoot like 20 golden spears into you and then blow you up in his hand. I've only seen him do it like 4-5 times total in the 13 journeys I have done so far and the countless times I have helped people beat it in Co-Op. It hurts pretty bad.
Good video man! Was glad to see a 100% solo guide. I was getting tired of looking up guides and then people just used spirit ashes haha (nothing wrong with using them if you want to but don’t make a guide with them ya feel me lol)

It rook me 9 hours to kill Elden Beast. I think I got it's moves after 2 hours. It wasn't the problem. The problem is I kept running more then I actually fought it. I hope second time I will be faster
After losing to Godfrey twice I ended up killing every single boss I could find and stacked up as much power as I could and maxed out up to +9 or +24 about 10 different weapons to test different strategies out, I ended up searching every inch of the map for scarabs and got a bunch of different ashes of war. Needless to say, I destroyed Godfrey and destroyed this boss after 5 attempts, I died to radagon, managed to deal with him on my second try, got destroyed by Elden stars, but every other move wasn't too bad. Same thing happened twice more and then I killed the Elden Beast. Godfrey scared me more than he really should have.
Am I the only one who finds Radagon to be the most annoying boss in the game? His move set is so fucking annoying and the timing never stays consistent so you can't get in the zone, feels like a constant start stop bullshit. Elden beast I've only died to now that im on NG+2 and his damage is through the fucking roof.
it is it has a faster hoarfrost stomp than us. can teleport. i can totally solo radagon alone still its teleport and the lightning bullet is BS.... but the elden beast after that is just pure bs with heat seeking missiles of holiness.
He did a dragging backspin that I avoided and before I could stand back up from the roll or he even finished that attack, in a motion I had to record and play back to follow he stepped forward faster than a bloodhound step and hit me with his knee while releasing an AOE attack. The most obnoxious attack I have ever witnessed, hope it was a glitch.
One advice i have for everyone struggling with the last phase. Try to always stay behind him and attack him there. And once he starts with the rings, run as far away from him as you can.
For this fight I used the giant crusher with royal knight resolve on heavy affinity plus 25 with 60 strength , that particular ash raises the next attack by 80% and without it the hammer already hits for almost 900 attack and I also had the jump talisman boost on so it took 4 jump attacks on radagaon to Kill him but I did have an summon distracting him which died in that first phase But same Strat for Elden beast and I had no summon, I would use royal knight resolve then chase it down and do a jump attack with two handing and then do another and if you can get a third it will stagger if not just run away and let your stamina regen, I staggered the beast twice and riposte and it was over I beat those bosses first try with this Strat but it did require a mimic tear in phase 1
Trouble is if you struggle with phase 1 and end up popping too many flasks you’re fucked. The key to success with this boss is absolutely mastering Radagon first but that’s very difficult.
Maliketh, Gideon, Godrey, Radagon, and Elden Beast are all fun fights. However, the fact that the endgame is essentially five bossfights in a row is very tedious and poorly paced. I feel like by the time you get to Radagon you are kind of just begging the game to end, and having to beat two bosses in a row right at the end feels more like lurching over the finish line that an amazing victory.
this is quite literally the worst boss fight ever created along with fighting characters with aoe attacks on every default attack you have to fight the fucking camera

Thanks for the tip, was able to beat him with the Haligdrake Talisman +2. He was doing way too much damage with those spammy AOE attacks I couldn't dodge roll through, and then I would run out of flasks.
Whats it called?
@@leonlyons9646 😂
Cool boss but he suffers from Fire Giant syndrome, aka a big boss who moves around a lot and takes forever to kill
Ok. I've used your narrated fights for every boss I have trouble remembering now. Gonna go ahead and sub. Lol Thanks man.
Holy damage mitigation is key for these fights
Black knife tiche comes in clutch, that death arc they do is amazing
The black knife dies mad fast but has good sync with blood loss build or frost build
Equip black knife on mimic and your character. It will shred boss hp in seo
Seconds
@@sirith9157 it does holy damage that these bosses resist so you have to rely on mimic AI using the ash of war though
@@sneaky5141 THIS is what I’ve been looking for! Been having issues with the Beast healing and I haven’t figured out why till now.
I killed it exactly one second before it killed me. The game gave it to me. I'm not sure it should have, but I'll take it
Of course the room with the runes that dropped is sealed off. I would have liked those runes.
I won a similar way with a "tie" against margit lol
Lucky, had Godfrey and morgot denied atleast once
I’ve been stuck on the Elden beast for 3 days I’m positive I just can’t do it lol
When he flies in the air and slams, it literally always hits me no matter what.
Yeah this boss isn't even fun cause there's no skill factor. It's all down to random luck.
I hated maliketh flurry attack aswell and the fact they spawned Godfrey within kissing distance for his second phase
I’ve used so many of your videos for this game, i feel like i owe you money.
Tips are never expected, but you can click the Super Thanks button below the video to leave one :)
Tip for the elden stars attack as he mentions 8:12 Try rolling in 90 degress. Like in a square shape.
This helped a lot dude, I got so nervous in the second phase I couldn't focus on its attack or how to avoid them.
I just want to beat this game so I can have friends again.
Anytime I get somewhat near the Elden beast he just swims away I literally can’t hit him at all
Finally became Elden lord .just wanna say thanks again for ur great guides .my first souls game is now complete .Nice one brother
Beat it first try after this guide. Awesome boss imo
Remember, Lord's divine fortification and Haligdrake talisman +2
Epic 😃 I managed to down the Elden Beast after watching this guide. Golden Greatshield + fiery Blasphemous Blade build :) I’m around level 170, with 60 vigor, 48 endurance, 34 Strength, 27 mind, & 46 faith. This game’s my new favourite, & I’m looking forward to Shadow of the Erdtree ☮️❤️Thanks again Johnny, & Elden Ring’s creators. I’m watching the credits now 🙏🏽
After 2 hours I finally got him down to 10% with 6 health pots to spare.. then I got disconnected 😶
Nah that’s so depressing, I would literally wanna die if that happened to me
ua-cam.com/video/3a160HPedLU/v-deo.html
Things like this are why always-online shouldn't be a thing. If that happened to me I'd be seething so hard lol
Great simple guide. Thanks man
You should be able to use Torrent for the Elden Beast fight. Too much chasing takes the fun out of it for me.
I’m struggling with radagon. Can’t even get to elden beast😔
Lmao “The camera will Autocorrect you” First time I’ve ever heard that 😂
Thanks
man been stuck on this for week now if i get past him and beast gets me ... then all over again very boring and time consuming
If your doing faith black flame with the black dagger will help as well avoid any incantation that takes time as radogan will punish you for it
FUCK THIS BOSS IM ABOUT TO FUCKING LOSE IT!
I wish he didnt run away all over da place..
Thanks for the guide i will try to defeat them today!
Thanks for making an actual guide instead of cheesing the hell out of him like every other youtube video for this boss.
Good video man! Was glad to see a 100% solo guide. I was getting tired of looking up guides and then people just used spirit ashes haha (nothing wrong with using them if you want to but don’t make a guide with them ya feel me lol)
The godskin peeler’s black flame spiral does a surprisingly hefty amount of damage, I beat it in like 3 tries. Granted I did have to grind to lvl 160 first lmao
Third time back to this channel for boss tips
100% all the games
But elden ring bosses have to many mix ups and delays for me, can't grasp a good rhythm like I did in prior games, i fluke some of them
Also that teleport is busted, you miss a hit and teleports back onto you at the end of your swing
100% agree with you! I played and loved every Fromsoft game, but in this game certain bosses have weird pattern and attacks! Anyway still a great game!
@@TomTom-me5hm no it definitely is, ive finished it now loved it
But definitely boss design a step back for me
Even compared to DS3 which is nost similar, Friede or Gael 🙏🙏🙏
@@ryanbarry34 You are right! But i dont know what it is i had an easier time with friede, gael even orphan of kos than most of the bosses from elden ring!
@@TomTom-me5hm its mixups and delays mostly and how they move into eachother, if you imagine each move like a tree graph they can split into different variations depending on your spacing, inputs, or just chance.
Orphan and Friede have more or less set move sets you can learn and master
Its almost like they thought it an evolution of the design complexity wise
I'm not a fan personally but I'm not sure it will revert in future sadly
I suck so hard at Radagon.Never got to the Elden beast.I dont wanna use summons for the final boss of the game.
That second phase was ridiculous. First time I summoned another player to be done with it …
Don’t run in a straight line from the stars. Turning slowly makes me avoid it. Even walking or without stamina you can 100% avoid the stars just by doing a slow turn as you evade
It rook me 9 hours to kill Elden Beast. I think I got it's moves after 2 hours. It wasn't the problem. The problem is I kept running more then I actually fought it. I hope second time I will be faster
Really struggling to kill this boss, spent 4 hours trying. Literally can’t do it
Update! I’ve Managed to do it! With the help of a random player I summoned. Who ever you are you’re a life saver! Now time for NG+
@@SirCazza12 this boss has plauged me for three days straight
Updated! I’m back at him now on NG+ but I’m stuck again hahaha god help me 😀😂😂😂
Your vid was very helpful! Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Thanks for this. Was able to beat Elden Beast following your guide :)
Thanks so much I was using your advice for this and melania so hopefully I can beat this boss
tl:dr , for radagon always dodge right and be careful when he teleports
I think the only way I'll beat this boss is to have another player join in. So fkn frustrating and discouraging. 😪
No its real. This fights the worst.
The Elden stars is the homing glowing thing that nags the hell out of you and lasts forever? Yeah that move always kills me. Screw this damn boss.
One advice i have for everyone struggling with the last phase. Try to always stay behind him and attack him there. And once he starts with the rings, run as far away from him as you can.
Soo even Auto-Targetting is a Boss mechanic designed to Kill you :o
For this fight I used the giant crusher with royal knight resolve on heavy affinity plus 25 with 60 strength , that particular ash raises the next attack by 80% and without it the hammer already hits for almost 900 attack and I also had the jump talisman boost on so it took 4 jump attacks on radagaon to
Kill him but I did have an summon distracting him which died in that first phase
But same Strat for Elden beast and I had no summon, I would use royal knight resolve then chase it down and do a jump attack with two handing and then do another and if you can get a third it will stagger if not just run away and let your stamina regen, I staggered the beast twice and riposte and it was over
I beat those bosses first try with this Strat but it did require a mimic tear in phase 1
Trouble is if you struggle with phase 1 and end up popping too many flasks you’re fucked. The key to success with this boss is absolutely mastering Radagon first but that’s very difficult.
This is a total disaster for a mage ...so bad at ranged hus tracking missiles are too much
Elden beast is the worst final boss out of any souls game ive ever played. 99% running around
Ur a life saver my friend
I don't know what's worse the rolling or the camera in this game
Maliketh, Gideon, Godrey, Radagon, and Elden Beast are all fun fights. However, the fact that the endgame is essentially five bossfights in a row is very tedious and poorly paced. I feel like by the time you get to Radagon you are kind of just begging the game to end, and having to beat two bosses in a row right at the end feels more like lurching over the finish line that an amazing victory.
I think I’ve been beaten by elden beast 3 dozen+times. I can beat phase 1 with my eyes closed at this point
this is quite literally the worst boss fight ever created along with fighting characters with aoe attacks on every default attack you have to fight the fucking camera
Community guess what I got some good news I just beat ELDEN RING LOL… i platinum it as well… I found the game to be much easier starting all over lol yes i started all over… because a new game plus ENEMIES WER HARDER.. So I just cheese all the way back over lol🤣🤣🤣🤣.. yeah yeah I know it’s stupid but hey I PLATINUM THE GAME 😃😃😃😃
I did it! and then Praise the research!
I was fortunate enough to beat radagon on my first try but the elden beast immediately humbled me
im level 130, have good stats, and good heavy armor, but this guy is doing 10x the damage to me that he does to you. He's doing much more rapid attacks, and different attacks. If I get near him like this he does a fake swing into a stomp that i just cant avoid. This fight is way different from what i'm seeing.
U need more vigor or holy/strike protection
