The reason why that weird pronunciation with accent thing happens is algorithms not being optimized to read fantasy novels and instead being designed to be multilingual. Certain names and words instead of sounding fantasy ish and being pronounced in English like they should are falsely detected as loan words from Spanish or German or whatever else and read with the "appropriate" accent.
