    I am appreciating all your videos. I've been binge watching them to understand what's going on with my body. I believe I'm stuck in catabolic state. I have had loose stools for years, I'm pre-diabetic (insulin resistant), my body is breaking down (arthritis and degenerating discs) and years of insomnia. Ive taken Ambien every night for 23 years. I have recently taken myself off the sleeping aid as I realize it shut my mind down for a couple of hours, but my body was not rested and I was tired when I woke. I just ordered some Ox Bile - that may help my slugish system. I just started using magnesium oil on my aching arthritic hip at night and I'm sleeping better now as I believe it helps. I also signed up for your free course. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

      I hope you are doing better. I was prescribed klonopin for sleep and was on it for 7 months. It utterly destroyed me. Seriously bad. But the symptoms were far enough away from when I started taking it that it took some time to put 2 and 2 together. I thought it was the original stress I was under caring for my 95 year old father.
      Ambien is also considered a benzo. I will never touch another sleep aid ever again! Stay well!!!!

    Interesting... I see you suggest to stay away from fish oil if you are catabolic. Dr Lam who specializes in AFS talks about being in a catabolic state and he recommends fish oil. Also a quick search on "is fish oil catabolic or anabolic" shows many results saying fish oil anabolic. So really wondering if I should give up fish oil or not.

    I had a bad reaction 24 hours after starting an antibiotic. The ER told me to stay on it the full 10 days. Shortly thereafter, I was diagnosed with POTS and SFN. I also went from 205 pounds to 165 in 7 weeks, and never gained it back no matter what I eat. Frequent urination is my issue rather than diarrhea

      @KickItNaturally  Рік тому +3

      Hi @Chris , It sounds like you might be leaning more on the anabolic side. We have a video on tachycardia here that could give you insights into POTS: ua-cam.com/video/XasKEUT5Tf8/v-deo.html
      and you'll definintely want to watch our video on an anabolic imbalance here: ua-cam.com/video/glvRt9z2fSE/v-deo.html
      But don't just go off of symptoms. You really want to look at your chemistry and do the self-tests we talk about in our free digestion course so you can get an idea of what is going on. If you've lost that much weight, something is happening. I'm actually making a video on "can't gain weight" this week, so make sure you're subscribed here so you don't miss that one: ua-cam.com/channels/EN08D5qYz8EHvwixHckYbg.html

      Hey @mick m , taurine ia actually ver pro-catabolic and we use it to fix anabolic imbalances. So it would make an overly catablic person much worse. In my book, you can see a lot of supplements and foods that will push a person either direction. You can download that book for free here: kickitnaturally.com/free

      @@KickItNaturallyFantastic - this explains why I reacted like I did to Taurine…naturopath wanted taurine so that I'd absorb more magnesium…neither great if already mired in a catabolic state! 😮. I react very poorly to Glutamate in MSG, emulsifiers like guar gum, xantham gum etc) I seemed to develop this sensitivity after a stressful event and can’t seem to shake it. Is it possible that it’s actually an adaptive response to try to move me from catabolic state to be more anabolic…trying to boost my blood pressure? I’ve had low blood pressure for decades, low minerals, osteoarthritis, etc. And did the breath rate test…low at 9. Boosting GABA better than reducing Glutamate?
      Work on my nervous system is underway!

    Hm I have constipation and insomnia but I thought I’d be in a catabolic imbalance not anabolic. I take magnesium and it makes my symptoms much worse. Not sure if calcium is anabolic maybe I need more calcium and k2.

    So I have all these symptoms and I also always feel dehydrated (hungover) even though I don’t drink alcohol. Can this cause dehydration? I feel dehydrated on a cellular level somehow. Like no matter how much water and electrolytes I drink, it does not hydrate me. The headaches really suck.
    FYI my urine test strips are always more on the acidic end. It’s hard to sleep, my bp and pulse are on the lower end always, more loose stools, etc and for some reason my bilirubin always seems to be slightly positive
