I’ve had nothing but problems with my Asmoke.
I like the size and weight for the portability but it only worked for two cooks! Looking at upgrading to a new controller and probe and maybe even a stainless steel grate.
The great is one of those cheap porcelain coated ones.
It would be definitely a nice upgrade to have a stainless steel grate!
Now I just need to find a brand of controller that will work in this size grill. I’m a start out by contacting Smoke Daddy.

It really is especially when space is limited and you want more than one grill haha.
Can you use any brand of pellets? I always see people using A smoke pellets
Should check out the GMG Davy Crockett/Trek. I have their older Davy Crockett and it's fantastic for camping/tailgating. Its got a more accurate pid controller and also plugs straight up into a 12v socket without any inverters.

Does the fan on your asmoke stay on the entire time you are smoking?
I can't remember.. I was watching it when I took off the side panel to see some of the insides.. next time i fire it up i'll pay more attention.

Yeah man, it's a fun grill for sure! I'm still going to keep working on the temp issue but end of the day it sure is convenient to travel with!
Does this still run on coal or is this Electric?
I don’t recommend any grill from ASMOKE. I called customer service and the phone plays music for 15 minutes, then goes to dead air, then says “If you’re satisfied with your message….etc.” without telling you you’re going to a voice message. They don’t call back. They don’t email. Absolutely no service. I regret buying an ASMOKE. Jim

As a lifelong Traeger user, I was initially skeptical about making the switch to ASMOKE. However, after using the ASMOKE Portable Pellet Grill, I've found it to be a game-changer. The temperature control is excellent, thanks to the dual sensors and new PID algorithm, which ensures accuracy within 5°F. This is far superior to the Traeger grills I've used in the past. I got one and they are very thin on the sheetmetal, absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, unless done by text or email. They only have a private answering service that takes messages. No human beings will talk to you. I'm sending mine back. Hell, they won't even give me a return authorization number to confirm I'm returning the grill.
