It’s a pleasant watch, but it’s not exactly the deepest movie in the world, especially not the first half, plus it’s a cutdown version. What did they really miss?
You should laugh at the “Ooh, Sexy” intro! It’s one of the most cringe things I’ve ever seen in a movie (followed closely by “So smart!”). In related weirdness, Lara’s dialogue is obviously dubbed, while everyone else’s isn’t, which happens sometimes in Indian movies, when they cast someone whose Hindi diction is lacking (like in Om Shanti Om). What’s really odd is that I’m pretty sure the actress (if we can call her that 😒) dubbed her own lines, even though she doesn’t really speak Hindi, which means she couldn’t say her lines while they were filming, but they were comfortable having her dub her own dialogue…I don’t get it. Also, I believe the character is supposed to be from London, even though I think I saw that the actress is from Germany, and sounds like it. Were they like, “Ah, UK, Germany, same difference”? The whole thing is bizarre.
STOP the maliciousness targeting of him still ok!!! How is he a playboy just because he didn’t want to marry Deepika after a short relationship and fell in love with someone else. He never cheated on his 7 yr girlfriend or 7 mo. Deepika or his wife 10 yrs. Deepika is the playgirl and druggie and cheap man-izer in open relationships and stole Ranveer from Anushka in real and reel life who slept her way for a career and lied about him to get sympathy stardom because couldn’t ride his name anymore. All these outsider plastic bag cheap women come to Bwood to ride a scion and become famous and when they fail, they go on evil malicious PR campaigns against them and get away with it because their targets are not as low as them He had to to send her a court order after he got married to stop talking and lusting after him for 12 yrs still after the breakup..
