I just got this for my birthday and this was the most helpful video in explaining the setup! You’re so clear in your instructions and the way you film it made it so easy to follow along with. Thank you, you saved me so much time!
I bought one of these style turntables for my friend for Christmas. It wasn’t the Angel Horn brand but it was the same belt drive style turntable and it sounded pretty good. Great video Tavis!
Tavis this brings back lovely memories of your original LP120 unboxing and setup video which is how I originally found your channel. I think it’s still a hugely popular video on your channel haha.
Awesome question. The Bluetooth feature is for playing music from your phone or other Bluetooth devices through the ANGEL HORN speakers. I hope this was helpful
When this company first debuted a couple of years ago they had some questionable practices (claiming the tables were made in USA and posting their own fake reviews on their site to name a few). However they seem to have tried to make things better. This one is better than the other tables they have with the "fishing wire" on the tone arm. I saw another review of this same table and it seems to be decent enough but I would replace that stylus with something better. Overall a nice review and you can't beat one for the price you paid! ($0). Not bad at all.
I decided against the Angels Horn because of the anti skating setup. It may be a very good turntable but that one item looked really cheap. I went with an Audio Technica unit instead.
You are in situation that brands start sending stuff to you!! Congrats. That might be good one for people who start playing vinyls, if everything comes in box. mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)
The Bluetooth is used for the speakers to use other Bluetooth sources or connections. The records can’t be listened to through Bluetooth hope this helps.
My speakers are a little fuzzy while playing records (some more that others but even my best quality records are still fuzzy) any suggestions on how I might solve this? I have the same player btw
you give a great tutorial on the turntable the tone of your voice is very calming this is a great TT a lot of people when showing this type of TT should note that the spindle of sub platter should be oiled when setting up and every six months to a year JRo
When you turn it on with the switch from the back do you see the red light that’s below the needle arm? If you don’t, it will not spin. The turntable turns itself off automatically if you do it yourself by turning the switch in the back to the OFF position. If that’s the case…turn the switch on and back off. Wait a few seconds and turn it back on and you should see the red light below the needle arm. Repeat the process again if it still doesn’t happen. I’ve contacted ANGEL about this
@@vinyltalkwithtavis3145 yea I’ve tried turning it off and on a bunch, even swapping outlets. The red light seems to just come on about 20% of the time
Just bought this for myself for my 73rd birthday. You made the setup a piece of cake. Thank you!
So glad I helped you out. Happy belated birthday
Thank you so much!! I was stressing trying to figure out the weight, but with your advice I got it on the first try! 🙏🏽

Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so very much. We got in a muddle with the vague instructions and your help was invaluable. Much appreciated. Susie and Jim from England.
You provided fantastic instructions on this set up! I’m assembled and ready to play some records!
Awesomeness!!!!
Thank you for this. It wasn’t as complicated as I was making it out to be but this helped a lot.
Thank you for going slow and smooth!!!

Thank you so much The idea of putting this thing together was stressing me out but it looks really easy. Thanks to your guide!
Thank you so much for making this! You made something that seemed so complicated so concise.
Thank you so much.
Thanks for the video. I only needed the instructions to verify the scale of the lines on the counterweight. Happy New Year!

TY so much for this easy to follow setup! Laughed at the 'well, you wont be able to hear cause copyright..' haha
How long are the red and black cables? And how long is the Power adapter?
Best video ever, thank you so much for the help
You’re welcome

Yes it is. LOL! Thx for watching GK
My angels horn comes Monday. I’m so worried that I’m going to mess up the counterweight setup..
Great vid! Thanks
Super useful bro! Thank you 💛
Very helpful for set up.
thank you very much 🙏🏼
really nice video. Do you think the Angels Horn version with the speaker below it is also as good?
I’ve not seen or heard of that style from Angels Horn. But I’m sure it’s just as satisfying
Could you include a video on Bluetooth operation. When I turn the knob to Bluetooth my turntable won’t spin
Awesome question. The Bluetooth feature is for playing music from your phone or other Bluetooth devices through the ANGEL HORN speakers. I hope this was helpful
Str8 forward.... nice!
Great thorough review video Tavis! I do remember Sticky AND Icky from school, what a couple knuckleheads, hahaha 🤣
LOL!!!!!!! Thx for watching my friend.

Thx for that info. Never heard that. But I must say…this sounds and looks good. The speakers are awesome sounding. Great side turntable for my bedroom
Great video! Thanks for the help, much appreciated!!

Awesome choice. I have both and use both actually. Enjoy!!!!!
Good video, I like your theme song
You’re my damn hero!
Thank you for this review! I’m looking to buy one.
Thank you dawg this was so helpful, also you got a nice ass voice

Yes. Companies have been contacting me. It’s fun!!
great video. very helpful.
Thank you so much!!
Thanks TAVIS!
Awesome video. Thanks for the information. Very helpful. 🎶 ❤
You’re welcome.
3.5 grams, 1 and 3/4 turns? What’s going on I’m confused
I saw that Blutooth was on the same dial as 33 and 45 - if you flick to BT - how do you select speed as they are on the same dial? Thanks
The Bluetooth is used for the speakers to use other Bluetooth sources or connections. The records can’t be listened to through Bluetooth hope this helps.
@@vinyltalkwithtavis3145 Thanks.

Wow. That’s unfortunate. Mine still sounds amazing. Make sure your cables are securely connected to the speakers. Hope this helps.
thank you very much, great video.

How is this compared to audio technica lp60xbt
There’s no comparison! The lp60xbt is incredible.
Do you have any idea why my player does not spin? It’s all set up correctly but often doesn’t start spinning when I lift the lever
For context it works sometimes and doesn’t work sometimes, the red light often isn’t on
When you turn it on with the switch from the back do you see the red light that’s below the needle arm? If you don’t, it will not spin. The turntable turns itself off automatically if you do it yourself by turning the switch in the back to the OFF position. If that’s the case…turn the switch on and back off. I cant get the weight right, my arm keeps floating across my records
Keep at it. You’ll get it eventually.
Is this turntable automatic?
No it’s not. ☺️
I don’t know why but the speakers are not working
Make sure the cables are connected securely.
My red light is on even when the power is off 🤔
This was simple enough. The instructions weren’t very helpful with the weight. This was fairly simple
How much did they pay you for the ad?
Imean ifyou peddle junk it better be a decent payday!
LOL! They paid me nothing. I still use this turntable. It’s awesome….especially in my classroom for my kiddos. The parents …the kiddos… we love it.
Most informative thing I’ve found for these turntables. Thanks, man. 🫡
