To be fair to the MDF, if you buy a white stethoscope in pretty much any brand it's going to stain more so than a darker stethoscope. You can't really lay it to the brand because you selected white.
I work with animals not humans but the needs are still the same. I went with an MDF ProCardial ERA that has Adult/Pediatric/Infant attachments. It is lightweight, has thick tubing, excellent noise cancellation and comfortable ear pieces (all rubber, three sets like her MDF; small, medium, large). I can hear clear heart sounds with all diaphragms and bells. The pediatric and infant work best on cats and kittens. The adult, of course, is good for dogs. The only drawbacks especially for those that eat and breathe Littman, it is super lightweight so you may think it seems cheap (which it isn't) and the tubing is longer than traditional steths (I am pretty short). Otherwise, I am in love with my MDF. Don't be afraid to shop around because not one stethoscope fits all.
Been looking for this. It's near impossible to find a review on this (video anyway). I don't like the idea that it is super long though. I thought I read it was the same length as the MD One that she has in this video?
I need to buy a new stethoscope. Mine is permanently curved now, so I'm definitely due for a new one. Lol. And I laughed SO HARD at the tiny broken one. Thanks for this comparison video!
Robin Mobley thanks so much for your awesome comments! 🤗 I'm so grateful for all the kind words! It makes me happy to have a channel others enjoy and I can offer guidance and whatever else to the Medical Assistant community!
Jordan Bus 0803 Yes, the schooling, the employment setting, the pay, and they types of patient care. CNAs are most likely going to be in a hospital setting or a care home setting. CMAs are typically only in ambulatory care (outpatient clinics, offices, private practices). I don’t know the scope of practice for a CNA but I do not think they are trained in injections or phlebotomy like CMAs are. I could be wrong.
The tubing is very sensitive! It’s prone to cracks and discoloration. Especially if they’re left in extreme temperatures (like in a hot car). I’ve found that you can buy new tubing, which saved me a ton of money ☺️

You crack me up. The tiny stethoscope is hilarious!
I love it....I'm currently waiting for mine, from my school..
Could you make a video on taking blood pressure manually? I’m still learning and could use any extra tips
Great video which stethoscope do you have? what do you pay attention to when listening?
The first cheap ones never break because nobody likes to use them :D
What's the difference between a CMA than a CNA
Jordan Bus 0803
CMA-certified medical assistant
CNA-certified nursing assistant
Maryn Hooper But is there any difference between them?

@@marynhooper4156 YOURE WRONG!!
@marynhooper4156 when I worked as a CNA/PCT- I did catheter care, blood sugars, phlebotomy, etc
My grandmother retired from being a medical assistant when she was 53. You don't have to be there till you're 80. 🤣
LOL to the 67 year old physician and the curvy stethoscope...You should've gotten him one for Christmas! LOL :)
Iam useing mine stethoscope from ma school .i want a better one 😦
If you get your CMA or RMA in state A can you transfer to state B?
yes
Depends on the state, if you get your license or become registered in Illinois you can't use it in Missouri. so check the states first.
Yes. They are certifications, not licenses.
Hi! I feel so guilty for have 2 scopes! What’s your reason for having so many😂 people think I’m crazy lol
