I don't know how you could keep using the same cups even if it is dry resin because every time I use it it's always chips paint or resin in my new artwork so I stop doing that I start throwing it away even the used sticks
Alexis Moreno this is a Canvas Panel. A lot of people use wood panels that you can get from a craft store, they’re more expensive though. You can reheat the resin if it’s been 45min - 1 hr so get a longer life out of it. But any longer and it starts to get really sticky.
I was very confused by the steps needed to do this. Not sure what you meant by 1/10 paint per oz resin? Im confused what you mean by that. This video went by way too fast so I couldn't really follow along and I honestly have no idea how to do it. Just letting you know the video confused me more than helped me. It's a very pretty piece, but I just don't understand how you did it because it just went by too fast and i didn't understand the instructions. Never worked with resin before, so it seems way too confusing and hard honestly.
Thank you for the feedback, this was one of the first tutorials I made so there's always something to be improved. For the paint to resin ratio I mean that for every ounce of resin used you will only need about a 10th of an ounce of paint, in other words a very small amount because too much paint will make the resin sticky and it won't flow. I'll be making a lot more videos in 2020 so I'll revisit a resin tutorial.
@@J-CBertrand-tp6bg actually it is very confusing and hard working with resin not only for those who do it first time. It is a lot of waste if money and products.
Your work is beautiful!
Thank you!!

Hello, this is beautiful! would I be able to make the galaxy with the art resin, than apply a clear layer of the counter top resin for a finish coat?
yes you can definitely do that! I usually do that when I'm making something functional like a coaster or trinket dish!
Very pretty! I like your technique
Do you use a regular canvas ? What type of surface do you normally use. And do you use the heat gun to reheat your already mixed paint ?
