Actually the light from the camera shined right through it. When looking at this in a darker room the colors are harder to see. I'm so blind I always have to go to Bright Light. Lol but it is very beautiful that's for sure. Thank you Tish
Oh my God my friend! That is probably one of the best nebula space looking pictures I've seen it in Forever! It's just amazing! You have outdone yourself again! Thanks so much for sharing
Janese Pitman Funny how almost every video I watched they would say I put too much color. And it was really pigmented. So I sat and thought about it long enough this morning and chose those colors and made them Just lightly tinted. I’m super happy I did that. I love this one so much. I don’t want to get rid of it. I kind of hope she changes her mind Lol lol thank you very much Janese❤️
Susan Graham Oh you definitely should try. Just watching lots of videos and you’ll learn just like I did. But I’m still learning. Thank you very much Susan
Hi Sherri, When you had it on the table I could only see the blue. I even enlarged my screen, but when brought it closer to the camera it was gorgeous. I couldn't believe it. They went you added the rest of the resin, you could really see the depth. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Tina Procaccini Thanks Tina Yes I know you could hardly see it through the camera screen. I couldn’t see it either when I looked in there. But that’s because I very lightly tinted them.I wish I would have took the camera down to it instead of holding it up. All the resin was dripping off and I just wasn’t thinking straight to take the camera down so you all could see it longer.
I can always make you one. I can't always say it's going to look exactly the same but I can always use the same colors and do it exactly the same. If you want me to make you one, private message me on Facebook. Sherri Romero
Thanks Sue I keep meaning to ask you. Did you put resin on that canvas I sent you? If you put resin on that canvas that painting would stand out 100 times better. Do you know how to do resin?
@@sherrislife2046 I haven't got round to buying any resin yet, or a heat gun. It's hard to buy anything in the area that we have just moved to. I have spray on varnish, but that wouldn't work as well, hey? I've been watching you and lots of people do varnish so I think I can work it out when I do finally get some, but I will practice on other things first before I try resining the painting from you. It means a lot to me so I don't want to wreck it! 😀❤
@@suekleinschmidt5949 Oh yes I understand completely. I was just wondering because it really was a cool space Galaxy painting. I sure wish that one was done in resin for you. Someday after you practice a lot I'm sure you will do a fine job.
@@sherrislife2046 It IS extremely cool and I love it very much and I'm so grateful to you for giving it to me ❤ When I do resin it (after lots of practice lol) I will send you a photo! 😀
Sue Kleinschmidt Oh, you’re so welcome. I just wish I would have giving you one with resin. Yes, please send me a picture if you ever do. But when I first started doing resin I messed up so much. I kept getting air bubbles in them and it took a long time to finally learn how. So maybe your best bet is to practice practice practice before you ever touch it. Or just leave it the way it is.I hope you’re doing good today. And that you’re feeling much better. Please take good care.
Hello, Sherri... I appreciate how ‘simple’ you make this as in, less is more😊. I am going to try this tomorrow as I went and got some of the purple and magenta today👍. Wish me luck 🙏🤞🥰
Mollygooch50 Romero Oh yeah as this type of resin painting is probably the simplest. I know you can do this. And yes less is more when it comes to the galaxies. Thank you very much Molly!✨
Kim Shirley Oh my goodness, seven cats? I would love to have seven cats but the hairs I can do with out in my paintings LOL My cat has long black hair LOL I don’t have real good eyesight either so I end up missing them quite often. Lol And even if I get all of them out, one is bound to blow in it again. Thank you 👍🐕
WoW !! It’s just so stunningly amazingly beautiful 😍🥰 I am just in aww here , I saw it earlier on fb and I couldn’t wait till I got back home to watch it . It’s just amazing Sherri you are incredible girl xo 😘
What size glass glitter? Will a 16oz kit make this? If I can't find first color, will teal work? Substitute for violet shimmer? I found the gold , white , and deep magenta. I know no right or wrong, just wanna follow you for first time.
Not too large of chunks for your glass glitter. Oh yes 16 ounce is more than enough. Teal would work wonderfully. Pick any colors that are appealing to you just remember not to lay down too much. If it’s not enough lay down a little more color.
Hi Sherri, love watching your videos. I especially like the new resin coasters you've done. :) Definitly going to order a set of silicone molds to give it a try. :) Maybe this has been covered in a previous resin pour video I haven't come across yet, but what are the acrylic colours you use in this mixed with? Ratios? Your videos inspire me to experiment and learn new techniques. Thanks!
Heidicolt 8880 When I use acrylic with resin it is very very important that you only use a drop of acrylic. I start with just a little bit like a 1/4 teaspoon of acrylic then a add some resin and mix it. If it starts to thicken up add some more resin until it’s creamy and flows of your stick. When using Acrylic with resin it will thicken very very quickly if you have too much acrylic in it. So start with the acrylic first then add some resin until it’s the right pigment you want and flows off your stick. The colors I used are in my description. Hope that helps. If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask me. Thank you very much!
@@sherrislife2046 thank you so much! I really appreciate the guidance and I'll definitely give it a try. Your videos make me just want to experiment and grow. Love your work and videos. ❤❤❤
So you can just use normal acrylic paint put into a little resin to do those geourges nebula like clouds? Or did I get that wrong? If I understood that right that would be so much more cost affective
tobias kalinowicz you understood that correctly. You can use just about any acrylic paint. But only just a little drop to start with because it thickens very quickly in the resin. You don’t need a lot. I will use like a pinto bean size drop for 1/2 cup of resin. All you have to do is mix it in real good. I use it all the time and it’s definitely less cost effective. I especially like using metallic acrylic paint in my resin because it is so pretty in it. Try it someday. Thank you👍
