Good to see Dan in front of the camera and this time doing a tutorial piece. I used to fish Horseshoe and Linear and that taught me a fair bit about weed. This is where I learned the power of solid PVA bags whenever I was faced with the green stuff. I did find that if the weed was less than 12" deep, any long, supple rig worked and that balancing baits was optional rather than compulsory. Weed puts many anglers off but if your hooks are sharp and your rigs turn over, there's no need to fear the weed! Nice one guys 👍
I was waiting for the same old find a clear spot as every video on UA-cam explains. Thought that was the best explained weed fishing video I've seen. Good work, Dan 👏

If you’re gonna use a helicopter that’s gteeed to present in any weed then why bother leading around? And why not have the bead miles up to cater for any depth weed? What issues are faced with the bead too far up the line?

Every video I watch on ' how to fish in weed ' is basically, I find a clear spot, which, in my book, isn't how to fish IN weed. Click bait me thinks

I fished this venue last summer, multi rig with a pink pop up over low lying weed! Caught the biggest mirror in the lake, the two commons in the lake and another small mirror in a 48 🫡
