5:11 the horse falling off is one of the greatest accidents in film history 😂 literal perfection.
I thought it was scripted it was so good
It was staged. The whole thing was staged. Everyone laughs at Borat's "victims" because they don't realize it's fake... whilst everyone at home is being fooled by the promotional team who puts on ridiculous productions like this to further perpetuate the con job. The joke is on you. SBC is no hero. He's pretty good, but he not THAT good. 11:34 - Look carefully and honestly at that frame. It's stage-lighted for film. That's "Hollywood magic" right there, in front of your face. Sure, there was probably a lot of improv, but everyone knows they're starring in a movie.
Absolutely. Even the camera was in the perfect position.
Film studios pay tens of thousands of dollars to have such "accidents" put into their scenes in post production.

He can bring Borat back in 10-15 years to prank a whole new generation of people who wouldn’t recognize him
It's weird because if they remember him to the point of not being able to film it, then his earlier work was more than successful. I'd love to see more from him though.
Borat 2 was not a good movie at all, he completely forgot how to do the character, the accent sounded nothing like it did in Da Ali G Show or Borat 1, and he focused way too much on the cheesy lines like "Very nice," instead of what actually made the character really funny in the original show and the movie. He didn't have the true wit or humor that Borat did originally, it felt like it was someone else doing a really bad impression of Borat, not actually Borat. He definitely needs to keep Borat retired unless he can remember how to do the character again.
@@ChrisM-bn5vr I agree it wasn’t as good. He may have lost his touch. But I think there’s hope he can get it back
@@Masterpieceman16 I highly doubt it, if he lost his touch he lost his touch, age and more time away from the character isn't going to improve him, it will have the opposite effect. I don't think he even cares about the character much anymore, he only used the 2nd movie to push a political message before the elections, the main goal obviously wasn't just making a really funny movie.
@@ChrisM-bn5vr I agree. Tho you wont find many who will as well.
Genuinely hilarious when it brings out the worst in humanity but also heartwarming when it brings out the best in humanity. Comedy is holding up a mirror to society.

"They did it in complete secrecy."
I remember specifically the Trump prank and the country singer scene, both of those made the news and the wider internet pretty quickly honed in on the idea that there was probably a new Borat film being made. There's a handful of moments where they straight up got caught filming the second movie.

Borat 2 felt like it was a scripted movie with a whole crew of actors.
I've come across this channel early, and I can already tell that it's destined for great success.
GREAT SUCCESS! YASS! I LIKE!
true potential
I Like it very much , wawaweewa
its definitely good video, so far...but early would be like 100 or less subs. where he is at now is after the start and just before blowing up
I remember watching Borat in theaters in high school. The place was packed. I think it's the hardest I've laughed in my life.
I didn't have nearly as much fun with the second Borat movie as with his older works, but still Cohen is one of the greatest artists of our generation and by far the most radical, dedicated and authentic comedian alive at the moment. True maestro.
I'm glad Janiece was taken care of and then did something even more amazing.
The fact that Borat character was retired at least in part because Sacha thinks it has become too dangerous now makes me really worried about the world, the flashpoint can be really close.
Very Clever Comedian! 😂❤
this was a great video to watch, thank you!
The bear seemed to have a fun time on set 🤣💯
This man is an international gem, good intentions to show humanities flaws, but alsosome our good traits.
Naturally gifted at comedy as well, some of the scenes in Borat were wildly unexpected.
He breaks character to apologize to his own background & say he doesn’t mean it but no one else?
"The guerilla filmmaking" I love it
I literally had a stroke in the theater when I saw Borat and the 4:58 scene came in with that horse falling over. I was laughing so hard I almost passed out. It's the dedication to the bit that kills me every time and SBC is the best at it.
Everything he does is fucking iconic, that's one of my favourite scenes in the movie too
Wow glad you didn’t die, hope the stroke didn’t cause any permanent damage.
That's rough man. Hope you recovered from your stroke.
I went saw a rodeo last year and the horse fell too, along with the flag😂

Sasha Baron Cohen is a certified genius.
Yes but also balls of steel, I cringe just thinking about what he did, imagine actually doing them, no frickin way man

I watched da Ali G show and Ali G movie and I always knew if Sacha made a Borat movie it would be a GREAT SUCCESS!
Borat Change my Life ❤️
An actror having such awareness of his audince. Such control over himself and care and dedication for his craft is truly crazy
Airplane, Borat, and The Big Lebowski are three of the best comedies IMO. Jenise donated almost the entire 300k raised for her......... wow, what an amazing woman. Protect her at all costs!
The woman is the real deal. I wish the world had more people like her.

Borat actor has gigantic balls...love it.
This genre of movie is my favorite but it has to be done sporadically so people don’t catch on.
I've never seen someone with only 4 videos make them so clean, professional, and entertaining. Keep up the wonderful work!
I love how this video didn't have cartoon special effects, terrible jokes or heinous musical soundtrack added, it was brilliant.
This video explained the Borat franchise and all of Baron Cohen's characters better than I could've hoped for! Thanks for making this.

Borat for President!
I love how he just went out to basically take the piss out of people and make a movie. One of the best films of all times cause rhe fact its just real and what people think. No acting just him pretending to be someone completely different and then everyone opened dup to him. The fact the whole team put themselves at risk for this whole movie is great. It's a shame borat 2 doesn't hit quite the same cause everyone knew him but was great how they came around to the idea of his daughter and just a great american woman helping out was good. He is a brillant comedy and knows the best way to take the absolute piss out of people.

One can only judge a man's integrity against the standards of his own beliefs, which in Cohen's case famously involves "progressivism".
Borat has aged terribly and I'll never understand what adult thinks his brain dead humour is even remotely funny lol. Who could have thought that Borat would have moments of profound love and inspiration.
I don't know that I've ever heard Sacha Baron Cohen's real voice until just now! lol
this is probably one of best movies of 1000 years
Makes me appreciate borat more…i didnt see the latest one bc it seemed kinda dumb, and also I got anxiety after seeing first one bc of how he riled up ppl who didnt know he was acting. This reminded me how much skill and planning is involved in the improv. Im just curious how it all worked out without ppl signing release forms. Or did every non-actor end up signing one? Cuz if they didnt, there would just be a bunch of blurry faces.
Hi Lauren, nice to meet you.
Privacy is a tricky subject all the way around. People shouldn’t need something “to hide” in order to have privacy.
But as far as laws go, you have less expectation of or right to privacy in public places compared to something like your home, for example. And in the home you expect more privacy in the bathroom than in the kitchen.
In the modern world with cameras almost everywhere, things had to be adjusted.
Therefore filming people in public places isn’t usually considered a violation of privacy. If you’re already in public, where random people could walk by and see you, then is what they would see being captured on film that much farther of a step?
So no, people do not have to sign waivers or have their faces blurred. Even if the resulting product will be monetized.
How else would the entire industry of influencers exist? A good chunk of what they do is in public, or even based on public reactions.
People already shit all over anything that could possibly be considered as faked or staged. How much worse would all the cringe type content actually be if every person in every video had to consent?
It’s just not how any of this stuff works. Hope that helped clear up some of the basics about filming in public and modern right to privacy
Bro is tryina rizz in the comments LMAO@@boxoffisa
@@coltenh581True. And yet in Europe, Germany or France you still get into trouble somehow without those waivers. 🤷

In a world of divisive rhetoric, where the opposition is normally hit with a brick rather than spoken to, people could learn from Sacha.
lol, he's the one who brought political division himself - "oh look all lefties are angels, and every republican is a demon!"
You have to have a serious case of main character syndrome to treat other people like this. This isn't good natured you know you are taking advantage of other people, using them for your own benefit and you are a bad person if you are using others for your own devices.
