I have no medical background at all and only started to follow Dr Campbell back in late 2020 when i was looking for answers to explain what i now know was Long Covid, i had terrible issues with my gastric system (and many many other symptoms) for a very long time that i still don't understand but this visual explanation of the digestive system was extremely informative.... no answers about what caused my gastro intestinal issues of course but it did give me an insight into how the digestive system works.
As an aside, i've also suffered from what i called 'chest cramps' for about 5 or 6 years, they happen rarely but they are alarming, i could mitigate the pain by stretching my arms up and behind my head... in a similar way that leg cramps can be helped by stretching the effected leg muscle... i went to my GP about them and he asked lots of questions and he had no concerns at all, citing the diaphram as the cause but of course i had no idea the idea the diaphram covered such a large are so i couldn't fully understand what he was talking about which left me doubting him, for me the diaphram was always a relatively small area in the centre of the chest just below the rib cage... if you've ever been hit in that area playing rugby or punched there most people you automatically think it's in 'the diaphram'. Now i know the diaphram covers such a large area it not only puts my mind at rest but also explains why sometimes the spasms would randomly happen on the left, or right, of my chest.

I was born without a gallbladder. They thought I had a collapsed gallbladder with multiple stones. They got in there and no gallbladder. They used my tape from surgery for students. The doctor said to see one like this, never thought he would see something like this in his life. So I guess it’s very rare. I have a lot of weird things lol

Really easy to understand. Thanks for the video, man. As a 15 y/o in Malaysia this is included in our syllabus. And it is pretty obvious it is easier to watch a 24 minute video than reading an entire text book chapter about human digestive system that would take hours and not even understanding a thing. Thanks again.

Fascination I really appreciate this. I was not anything like this if anyting but of course I didn't go to school much I did graduate but hahaha. Since my stroke and other medical troubles from 2020 I I have been everything natural that I can find and try for my body. Back in 2018 I stopped all medication that I had been on for yrs. I had had enought. Back then I also was getting the flu vaccines and both times got extremely ill and I said after the last one never again. I could write a book right now 😄. With The strokes I had swallowing problems my throat. I never gave up and that has gotten way better then I got whooping cough.... And I have so many throat problems the major part of it lasted 3 months but it lingers to this day and that was a year-and-a-half ago. 🥰Thank you! This valuable information to me, I can Invision what's going inside better cuz idnk.
