That's a very interesting account, vividly written. But before I would accept such an account from a politician, I'd want some corroboration. Especially for an account of the politician's coolness and bravery in the face of chaos. It could well be simply self-serving bull.
Listening to this as i drive to manassas for work. My shop is probably less than a half mile from bull run battlefield. Very historic area to live!
