I absolutely LOVEEE the moment (4:48) when you asked Dima to compare your topspin and Ma Long's topspin, there's so much value in hearing why Ma Long is so good from Dima's perspective, I can't describe how great of a job you did with that question! I'm in the top 75 players in my country and all I think is how can I get to attack at all, but I just realized there's so much more to it. The best table tennis video I've watched in a very long time!
Thanks a lot for asking Dima to compare your technique with Ma Long's. Dima is so toughtful, helpful, and open to share his knowledge. He could be a very good coach in the future!
Dimitrij is such a good and great guy I love him and also his game style even when I try to play modern defence. Dimitrij if you read this, keep it up, you have so many fans!! Love from SVK.
Great video again, your equipment reviews give so much clarity on what type of player can opt for it and what level of player should actually think about it .I hope we see the donic world championship 89 blade series review from ttd team soon.
Thank you for reviewing this blade. I am currently using this racket with tenergy 05 hard and tenergy 19 . This blade is just amazing, amazing quality .
Thx Dan! I've been a huge Dima fan for years (even make his breathing sounds, lol) and using this blade since just before X-mas and absolutely love it (Dignics 09 with Dignics 80 on backhand)! His comment about Ma Long was so interesting.
Amazing vid. The greatest part is that we got to hear what Dima thinks about why this blade is great for his game. Insights from pro players are always precious!
Great Video. Dima like timo is a really great personality. Not as laid back and "similey" like timo but very serious and analytical but still super friendly and willing to help you out. I could see him being a great coach after his career or maybe assisting companies in developing blades and rubbers since he can describe those feels very well.
I used an inner force alc the other day for the first time and it literally felt like cheat mode. I could really feel the ball dwelling into the bat giving huge control that I've never felt before and my FH loops and drives were so intuitive like autopilot. Just incredible these innerforce ALCs.
@@TableTennisDaily This is also why Timo uses a straight handle. I also changed to straight handle because of that and it was much easier for me to change grip from backhand to forehand. Great video!
@@TableTennisDaily Having this "problem" has well I tried a straight handle but it kept falling on the ground it was so slippery. Did Dima told you where he puts pressure on the blade so it doesn't fall? I Assume he's very relaxed and not stiff like us mortals..
Throughout my 20's I was always a wrist-only player for bh/fh change; the logic being how do change your grip with precision so that it _always_ locks into the identical angle--open/close--for every shot? Now it my later years I'm exploring various handles that force that lock every time with every grip-change: there is a fixed and exactly repeatable position for either fh or bh. I have practically eliminated wrist-bend variable, with only wrist-rotation remaining.
I suppose the thickness makes it flex less and that this stiffness is catered to his awesome backhand so he can be precise while hitting the ball further out on the blade.
Great video. Always love seeing Dima explain the strengths of his blade. Dan, how does this blade compare to Dima’s old blade, the Donic Ovtcharov No.1 Senso?
Tried this blade recently and liked it but it didn't push out my main blade, the TSP balsa 5.5 with Andro Hexer Power Grip FH and Donic Bluestorm Pro AM, BH. I've tried dozens of blades and can't seem to find one that works as well in all segments, including smashing and pushing. Recently tried the Donic Original Carbon Inner and really liked it too. I'll wait for the end of the season to try and make it work with different rubbers. The quest never ends😂😂
Hi i Just get interestet again with tenis table. I Haven played IT in my Young Age. So i really do not know much about IT and thear i found You. But to the question. Wat you can tell about rockers butterfly Ovtcharov Black and Donic Schildkrot Ovtcharov Level 300. How you can compare thous two to each other? Which one is better in your opinion. BTW great Player you are and i love to lern with you. Since i can play only in low space garage with my friend and i lern only by my self with that cheep staf from supermarkets. You already becom my Sifu! Really glad you are here.
Dima breaking down Ma Long’s forehand topspin is hands down the best moment in this video, not in a bad way 😂 but I think WTT would 100% benefit from more insight from the top pro’s. I hope they look to get these guys more involved in the production aspect
hey im buying a new racket and im deciding between killerspin jet800 n2 and stiga pro carbon+ 5star i like the stiga more but it has controll 33 which for a lot of rackets for that price they have it way higher and does it matter a lot its my first time buying a new one untill now i've been playing with some old one i found for years and all i wanna know is witch of the two is a better pick and does controll matter a lot?
I'm not a pro but i have seen couple european players playing forehand and i noticed that everytime they play forehand the angle in elbow is quite small when almost every chinese top male is hitting the ball with almost full elbow down
Swing extremely early on those tomahawks that are due to clear the sideline before a 2nd bounce on your side. When trying to push the short, heavy underspinning ones, be getting there as the ball bounces on your side. Use the force from your right foot moving forward in tandem with your actual pushing motion with the racket. This force will make it easier to get the ball over the net and not bury it into the net. However, the ones I saw you bury in this video looked to mainly be because you were way too late. Also Dan, I noticed that you're not constantly adjusting your positioning after each shot. You need to always ASSUME THE WORST, Dan. Always assume what you're vulnerable for is coming and position yourself to protect yourself from getting burned just because you didn't move at all. I kept saying "Move Dan. C'mon, move.". I think you need to really focus on strafing to where you're not leaving yourself vulnerable, and to where you don't get attacks stolen, or countered either. Keep telling yourself to immediately move after every single shot. And you have to move all at once, and very rapidly. Move from one spot to another spot with both feet at the same time. And keep your feet the same distance apart throughout too. Don't extend one leg out farther than the other, or something like that. Finally, instead of missing that inside out forehand cross-table attack like you did multiple times in this video, try moving to your right and hitting a hard cross-table backhand attack instead. Try to get that nice diagonal motion with your arm's swing on the backhand and try to enhance your power by rotating your hips. And remember this: When you're attacking with a backhand and the contact point is going to be higher than the height of the net, you need less wrist action and you need to try to hit the ball more straight, and not upwards. Wrist action on the backhand is going to make ball travel upwards and on a path which is an arc. When you're hitting it very hard and the ball is getting hit from above the net, hitting with a bunch of wrist is going to cause the shot to go long. It's the power that's causing it. So, when you hit the backhand with real power, keep that in mind.
Innerforce layer ALC is almost the same as the Harimoto ALC. Harimoto ALC only has a slightly bigger head. No major difference in speed or control between them I believe. And they already made a review on the Harimoto ALC, so you should watch that.
Tell us what blade you use?🔥👇
Victas dyna carbon my beloved
FZD ALC!
Yasaka Masamune
Dima Ovtcharov ALC :) Its a great Blade :)
recently switched to cybershape wood :)

I agree. This was super educational.
which country r u from?
Dimitirj is such a humble person.
Ye. He’s also a quality player too. I wish I had his backhands
Yes goat
more control, more confidence. Thank you Dima!
Thanks a lot for asking Dima to compare your technique with Ma Long's. Dima is so toughtful, helpful, and open to share his knowledge. He could be a very good coach in the future!
the question about ma long's spin was very interesting, great video dude
Thanks for tuning in Nacho 🙌
@@TripodianTT Great idea! It would be awesome to do that, he could post somewhere so viewers can ask questions and he picks best ones.
I just love how giving Dimitrij is of his time as well as his information!

Dima is an absolute powerhouse, Great guy and so humble! Great video Dan keep the content coming!
5:00 what an awesome insight into top level TT
100%, that was great!
🙌🙏
Dan you son of a gun! you improve so so much in these recent years.
so much power and spin.
Haha I've been trying Seeker 💪 Got to keep going. Keep it up too 🔥

Here for the Ovtcharov voice cracks😆
Great player with crazy backhand techniques.
Backhand insanity!
Thanks Dan! this was the review that I was waiting for a long time. Amazing review with Dima!
🙏🙏🏓
Dan, this is the best practice video ever. And Dima is the one of my favourite TT player. Nice Dan, thanks for great video.
Dima is awesome! Enjoyed this video and always jealous of all the great players you get a chance to practice with. Well done, Dan!
Top top pro. Always humble……..but knows he’s slick!!! Fair play to him. Known to train to the extreme👍
Thanks a lot table tennis daily!
Dima is a fantastic player and such a kind person.
Out pleasure 🙌 A great guy tons of knowledge!
7:55 it's crazy how you can see the ball almost coming to a stop after the second bounce. It always comes shorter than you'd expect
Yeah I can remember his serves vividly, when I made contact it felt like the ball weighed like a bowling ball haha 😅
Great Video. Dima like timo is a really great personality. Not as laid back and "similey" like timo but very serious and analytical but still super friendly and willing to help you out.

Love when Dimo is on. Such great comments and insights on shots, feel, and more. Solid stuff Dan.

Interesting thought from Dima regarding Ma long play, one of the GOAT of table tennis
He'll make a great coach once he retires
💯
I just LOVED the insight about Ma Long, great question Dan!
Very informative, well done. Loved the question and answer about Ma Long. What makes those Chinese players so dominant really?
Agreed very interesting his response on that Ma Long question 🏓

Dima's voice is always cracking 🥸
There is a bit Voice in his Cracks
Dima is so down to earth guy
I dont know if it's just me but I found it amazing when Dima gave feedback to how Ma Long is difficult to play against with
2:32 That looks to be a major grip change on backhand and forehand!
It's his normal style. He's one of the few who changes his grip THAT much. I do the same but it's very VERY hard to master.
Yeah he has a big grip change. Interestingly Dima said to me he uses a straight handle to help speed up the grip change during a rally.
@@TableTennisDaily This is also why Timo uses a straight handle. I also changed to straight handle because of that and it was much easier for me to change grip from backhand to forehand. Great video!

great love these video's with the pro's. Dimi is beast
Great video. Always love seeing Dima explain the strengths of his blade. Dan, how does this blade compare to Dima’s old blade, the Donic Ovtcharov No.1 Senso?
Likewise Quinn so many insights from Dima. Good question I'd say Ovtcharov alc has more of a carbon crisp feel. Quicker also.

Haha the quest never ends thats so true 😁
Hey Dan where do you find the same blade but I want to see the 86 grams one. It says it’s 91 grams
It’s pretty cool that Dima’s grunts sound like a tiger roaring when slowed down.
Hi Dan, could you compare these two blades with the same weight ? : Harimoto innerforce alc and Ovtcharov innerforce alc
+1

Nice Review Dan 👌😉great to see you in Saarbrücken.... are you at the CL Finale tomorrow ?
Gorgeous haircut Dan 💇🏻♂️👌🏼
Watched this....very insightful
He's such a nice guy!
dima god 🙏🏻🏓 amazing blade 10/10 in speed and control
Hi Dima , do you use booster on your dignics 09c , It looks you 've used booster on your dignics 09c
Would love a comparison with the harimoto super zlc, fan zhendong cnf, and this blade. All 3 seem to be a good compromise between power and control
love it keep up the work dan
Please make a review for viscaria super alc!!
Coming soon 💪

محترم ومتواضع والله يا ديمتري يا اخويا 😅❤️ مثلي الأعلي في تنس الطاوله 🏓❤️
What rubbers and thickness does he play?
dan makes my day if he posts a " testing __________ table tennis bat " of any player
I have the 2022 Otcharov ALC, it is really great. My best blade ever. It is very powerful, a bit heavy though ( which is okay for me)
Did you use commercial version of dima innerforce alc, cuz we all know pros use different blades from commercial ones.
hey im buying a new racket and im deciding between killerspin jet800 n2 and stiga pro carbon+ 5star i like the stiga more but it has controll 33 which for a lot of rackets for that price they have it way higher and does it matter a lot its my first time buying a new one untill now i've been playing with some old one i found for years and all i wanna know is witch of the two is a better pick and does controll matter a lot?
wow very analytic, will try his blade for sure.
I love Dima but the "Hoo-aan" just gets me everytime xD
Haha he's a beast!
I wish if Dima change sponsor or change equipment every 3 month so that you guys do more of this
amazing video- was rooting for the seniors. Do a rematch next year!!
what blade do you recommend for an intermediate learning?
I'm not a pro but i have seen couple european players playing forehand and i noticed that everytime they play forehand the angle in elbow is quite small when almost every chinese top male is hitting the ball with almost full elbow down
Many Europeans commonly play forehands with a backhand stance. This is an issue of poor footwork.
What thickness in the rubbers ovtcharov uses? Bcz am buying that whole setup for my bday in 3 days
Hi Dan! when is the match agaisnt ping pod
What non Butterfly rubbers suit well for this blade?
I seems like Dima is twiddling the bat a little bit when changing from backhand to forhand, I wonder about that
DIma is a great guy and sportsman.

Honestly Dan, why do you still sticking to your TB ALC after all this , you look good, you play good using this (and other Innerforce blades)
Pls review the nittaku fastarc g-1
Not gonna lie, while many many years I can not think of me playing without my Primorac carbon, I would like to try this one.
Review joola zhou qihao super alc-90
Hi Dan can you make a video about Ma Long 5 racket review /please/
Sick video
nice Video! Can u do one with harimoto too? I think his training and development when he was a Kid would be interesting.
Hey Fred that would be awesome!
Another video let’s go 😮
Review butterfly innerforce layer alc...🙏🙏🙏

Next video can you please do the challenge of returning shots that skim the edge
Dmitrij is such a good person
He is so cool and nice 🙂✌
Yeah super nice guy 🙌
How is it compared to a Viscaria?
Viscaria is slightly faster and the feeling is more direct. Whereas Dima's blade you can feel the ball more, it's not as stiff.
@@TableTennisDaily thank you!!!!
Dima backhand technique is still my favorite...forehand goes to chinese technique but when it comes down to backhand...its surely Dima backhand...
Yeah it's a monster backhand but at the same time he makes it look so simple and compact!
when you want try fzd blade series...?
May be some time give review of little less costly equipment.
Dima the voice crack boss 😂😂❤️
great video.... but olympics was 2 years ago... what took so long to upload 😆
I like this blade..
I would like to try this blade with the rubbers.... But 340€ is way to expensive for a try😂
Dina seems like a good guy
"not just live by the power of the blade"... oh Dima, i just came home from a MANOWAR-concert. So this sentence sounds so wrong ;D
Dan really looks like Tom Chaplin from the band Keane 😂
I don't even understand how any blade can "hold the ball" longer. WHAT ????
No booster? 😳
More video with dimitrij
Ohh looks like Dan's found the slow motion button
🔑
In the slowmos Dima sounds like a lion 🤣🤣🤣
Next, play dimi but he has to use a pickle ball bat
