It's rare to see a sponsored and professional player to do an acutal review of something instead of just reading the specs out loud. He really wanted us to know the differences to other rubbers.
They will never put him ig he dont talk good.. this is commercial not review, becouse he cannot be objective. This rubber is nowhere neqr tenergy or dignics and everyone say that.. its for medium lvl.. and tenergy is for pro.. so glazer do the job.. but if you compete then you must have better.. or juat try first glayz
The fact that he is encouraging young people to experiment with new ways of looking at the game shows that he is answering these questions in a well thought out manner.
Thank you Werner for your priceless tips. You are right on the money when you talk 0:06 about starting with a “pro” rubber, this is what gives you feeling from the get go. People sometimes don’t understand as beginners how important this is in table tennis especially. As we all know it’s not the equipment which makes the player, but the player needs to be serious if they want to learn how it all “works together” ! As a player I would tend to say that there will always be tendencies and depending of the style that seems the most efficient people follow that package. But again you are totally right when you say that there are very subtle differences that only high level players can identify. Great video, sir and legend of our sport.
Tried these Glayzer rubbers before watching Schlager's review. Though his feel is on a way other level than mine, so many of his points were similar to my own assessment. Made it feel very honest instead of an ad. I especially like the Glayzer 09c. This rubber isn't as jumpy as more catapult style rubbers, has a lot of spin and control, serve and receive are excellent. I've got this on an Allround blade and although it's not extremely fast, it has enough speed for my level.
I'm playing glayzer 09c on backhand on my FZD alc since it came out in April and I absolutely love it! I was playing glayzer on FH for a while but quickly changed it to Fastarc g1 and then tibhar Mk Hybrid which I'm playing now and is working fantastic. The normal glayzer has just too much competition by not being a hybrid rubber. This is why there are so many other options it has to compete against and I think it's just not too special of a rubber. Glayzer 09c price value 10/10 Glayzer price value 7/10
I am using 1.9mm the 09c. The speed is slow. If you hit 100% power, the ball speed is only around 85% or less. Spin is very good and it has high throw angle 📐.
D09c is for pro players...it requires to be extremely low, almost on your knees and a perfect technique. 44 degrees so 54 on the ESN scale. It needs to be boosted. D09c is by far the most spiny rubber from Butterfly. D05 is much more widely used, including among pro players.
Glayzer 09C would get closer in terms of speed but it’s possible that Dignics would be still faster. Spin is definitely higher with 09c in general due to the top sheet.
I have known it forever, I am not bad because I am bad but because my rubbers are bad ! If I get the good stuff I can easily get number one in the world :)
Werner Schlager; 2003 World TT Champion and to-date, the last non-Chinese world champion. His ranking when he was actively playing, probably #1? He runs a coaching academy now so his experience is still pretty relevant.

Glayzer 09C is phantastic and totally worth it.
Joola Tronix ACC and ZGR are better in my opinion considering the price.

Nice video, I wonder which one is more comparable to a Dignics 09C 1.9 : a Glayzer 1.9 or a Glayer 09C in 2.1mm in term of speed and spin. Any idea?

I wish an fx version of the d05, d80 and d64 came out
Schlager my favorite player
In the hands of a professional, еspecially In Werner’s hands, any racket will play great)

The fact werner is wearing Bracelets is so funny in his age
Why? Adults cant get their teeth’s corrected? Odd comment
@@HowIsThat69 Didnt meant it in an offensiv way. Its just the fact he is 51 Years old and its very uncommon to see someone do this
@@DerReaperZockt you mean it is actually too late if you're older than 40 or so? you probably do not know, how bracelets looked like, 30 years ago
