Thank you for sharing gentleman! Your video helped give me the knowledge and confidence to remove my 2012 Genesis, rear driver’s side window regulator. Ordered a Dorman window replacement regular which they boast are just as good or manufactured better if they redesign after finding fail point in OEM regulators. $40 or $50 less than best price on an OEM regulator I found on line. Also, holing the window up now with a 10” piece of soft 1”x3” pine wood by using as a wedge. Works great. Thanks to your video I’m sure I’m saving $200 or $300 for labor at a local dealership. Thank you for sharing. On my Genesis the rear window glass fell inside the door when I was closing the window. Don’t know if the glass broke or not. Will find out when I open it up. Your video inspired me do it myself.

Im about to do both my rears smh... im thinking about grinding the rivets off the white peice. Leaving it in the door.. then grinding the new one off the new regulator and riveting the new panel on or putting a couple screws thru the white peice still on the door when i put the new regulator on
After I replaced the regulator the car doesn't recognize that the door is closed what could be causing that?
I’m really not sure but sounds like that could be a sensor problem idk though
