There are a lot of everyday unsung heroes doing their jobs. Al and Jamie are two of them. They risk their lives to keep the Canadian roadways open in all kinds of nasty weather and under very risky conditions. I’ve been watching them on TV over the years. They deserve recognition for what they do. 👏👍
Al and Gord are my favourite drivers. No BS just get it done and not do further damage to equipment pulling it out. They are the best. My hats off to you guys
And heavy haul, bulldozers excavators you name it. I just read a really old story about him and he has a now almost 30 year old son who helps him out and he will take the wheel when al finally retires. That young man will have huge boots to fill
The episode when al was pulling a semi up the mountain and then he stopped to also hook to the car pulling a you haul trailer up The mountain anyone watching at that time realized the heart of hard working people like al helping for free folks in need👍👍👍thank you al.
I work for a Kenworth company out of Utah. I was down in Phoenix for training just earlier this week. A new friend and I were talking, he was from the area of Canada that this show is from. He had asked me if I had ever heard of the show Highway thru Hell. I responded with "you mean the Green Goblin?" He smiled from ear to ear and said "yep, you know it!" It wasa fun and humbling experience.
really want to import a T800 over the pond. spec a new truck so it would work in europe. just not doable at the moment hehe. running volvo cabovers now :)
Out west we can get some pretty crazy winter weather, the Canada shows US what's up! My dad being from SoCal doesn't get along with cold weather, however one time in Canada, it was so cold the electric defrosters on his Volvo's mirrors was ineffective!
In the beginning of the series they (the show) made Al out to be an arrogant asshole. But as the show went on, he is anything BUT! Humble and a true badass.
I know, right? I bought into that too, but as I saw more of Al, Gordy, and Al’s family, I could quickly tell that they’re awesome, skillful and just salt of the earth ppl. Great team!
Yes, this is the man and the business who hauled trucks up on Snowshed/ Great Bear / Horsesh..t Hill. I was one of his customers. Al also gave me a crash course on how to drive up the darn hill so I won't need to be towed again. Thank you, sir. Some of us know who was there to get the job done. And who was there for the show
A true recovery expert. What are the best words to describe AL? Calm, Cool, Collective and Humble. Lets here what you think? How would you describe Al in a few words? Keep up the great work AL. Cheers from Toronto.
Al seems like a nice guy. Have you noticed the size of his hands?? I sure wouldn't want to be the one that pissed him off. I don't think a grizzly could stop him
I love Al, and Gord, and it makes me sad that they are no longer doing full length videos, but I understand things change over the years! I just wish them both well!....👍❤
My husband and I watch you on Highway thru Hell when you on T.V. We really like seeing the rescued that you do. We are really glad how you do the rescues. We are from Akron, Ohio. We do believe you do the best job at towing.
Highway Thru Hell is an awesome show to watch & the Towing companies here in my town can't not do what Jamie, Al, Gord & Mission Towing out of Canada can do with there tow rigs. Keep up the Great work guy's.
Unfortunately that stat is a hit off, especially when comparing them to other Vulcan V100s which say they're 50 rated wreckers. BTW Vulcan is from Miller Industries that manufactures the same wreckers.
I watch a channel which is showing reruns of HTH several years old . Even though I have seen them previously,I sit through and enjoy them all over again . I would enjoy a program where Al takes us through a review of the goblin . His seems to be the only Vulcan wrecker on the mountain .
Wow, I thought I had it rough when I used the plate and chains on a 750 Holmes, before underlifts came out, at least in California there isn't that much snow. "Hats off to U,"Thanks William Orange county, Ca.
@@usanetworkca how can we see season 3 of Heavy Rescue 401 in the lower 48? Netflix only has seasons 1-2 so far. Im excited for season 4, but don't want to miss a season.
So what happened to the Goblin here? Blow a drive line or diff? I watched the show a long time ago and don't remember and of course the clip doesn't say... lol
I think he blew out the drive line to the rear diff. But, I might be mistaken - haven't been down that way for a year & a half, and we don't get the TV show since we no longer have TV, LOL.
That noise was most likely the drive shaft. Always use the winch to pull a vehicle from a stuck position, then raise and extend the boom to put more pressure on your drive tires , if you have to wheel pull it out the rest of the way.
Christine outquiring on highway thru hell you are one hell of a man alquiring I love the job that you do I live down in the flatlands Chesapeake Virginia you do want hell of a job from what I see on the show just now decided to look you up on UA-cam and enjoying your videos thank you for your entertainment and your hard work
I live in the area and was driving on Fraser Hiway through Aldergrove earlier this year when Al and the Green Goblin ended up in front of me. I got to follow him for about 7 minutes until he turned off. Until you see it person, you really don't have a good idea of just how massive a truck it really is. It was awesome.
That's a thumbs up, because I like Al, and Gord, and Jamie Davis, and his bunch, but it royally pisses me off that you're not making those full episodes anymore! Maybe it's because all of you decided to get out of it, or it was the cost of making them, or it was your producers, but I'm a retired truck 🚛 driver with well over a million miles here in the states alone, and I'm sorry to say that I never made it up to Canada, but God I loved your shows!...😒
That shot blowing through the drifted road was badass!
Yeah man, its like a superhero.

Al in his Green Kenworth is the best! Amazing what he does!
i just love AL. He's too cool and extremely fast in the snow!!!!!!! keep going, Al!!!!!!

This is one of my favourite shows. These are real people doing a hard, vital job. My respect for these guys is off the scale. Be safe guys.....

Al should have some posters made of the Goblin running through the drifts of snow . He would make a tidy profit I would think
In the beginning of the series they (the show) made Al out to be an arrogant asshole. But as the show went on, he is anything BUT! Humble and a true badass.
I've met him a few times good man
Big Al is a real nice guy,he just dont put up with ignorance
Al drives better backwards than most of us do forward! No BS let's get the job done! He's no spring chicken either! He's in great shape!

Omg the narrator sounds badass. And that entrance shot of the Green Goblin is epic.
totally 🤩

A True Professional and Gentleman
How would I describe Al? "E" "X" "P" "E" "R" "T!" And a true gentleman.
Badass, expert, professional
Al is probably the best and most knowledgeable one out there without a doubt.
Al seems like a nice guy. Have you noticed the size of his hands?? I sure wouldn't want to be the one that pissed him off. I don't think a grizzly could stop him
As much as I enjoy Jamie and his crew, I love Al. He's gold up there, too
Al is the best on the Coquihalla with the green KW as always awesome job
Al is one of the best. Keep up the good work. Thanks from Florida.
Thanks to production crew.and all of the wrecker crews.reality at it's best.👍👍👍👍👍

do you mind if we get to know ourselves more off here
The show is awesome, i used to drive a 30 ton wrecker, still have my Class A CDL, but need more of al and gord and the green goblin

Al's the man! He don't talk BS, #1 in that show.

Al quiring hes a cool dude.
Al nothing but luv from penna, that old K.W. put all them new trucks to shame!!! Keep pulling them and I'll keep watching.

Big AL and Gord!! Are the best!! 👍👍👍👍
Big Al and Gord are the best ones on highway thru hell. Closely followed by Jamie and Colin.
Al does the tow business proud,God bless you and yours
Al is a man's man,very talented guy............................
I really wish that the new rigs looked as good as the Green Goblin =)
He is one bad dude and knows his stuff!
This show should come back please!!!!!
According to the Quiring website, Al's truck is an 85 ton wrecker, Gord's truck is a 50 ton. No wonder Al does the work of three men on his own.
Unfortunately that stat is a hit off, especially when comparing them to other Vulcan V100s which say they're 50 rated wreckers. BTW Vulcan is from Miller Industries that manufactures the same wreckers.
He is a great guy too. ❤. Watch as much I can find it on my TV. Thanks Al. ❤

I like Al he is soft spoken , humble and s real gentleman
GOOD JOB LOVE THE SHOW AL & GORD (QUIRING TOWING)
Al is so awesome. Love that truck
Al’s the man!
Al towed me way back before he was famous. We told each other stories about truck wrecks and ugly deaths all the way from New Denver to Vancouver.
The G.O.A.T!
literally and figuratively!
al has always been my favorite!!
If Al would have wall size posters of the Green Machine running through the deep snow printed . I would stand in line
Wish Discovery carried this in the lower 48 that and the one about the 401. Netflix used to have it.
The Weather Channel in the US has started airing season 8 of Highway Thru Hell on Sundays and will run season 4 of Heavy Rescue: 401 on Feb 9th!

I love this truck
Love his truck. Of course I'm biased, I work for a Kenworth company.
Still that is a beautiful piece of equipment =)

i rather watch al than any other towing company!!
I like watching this show as a drinking game. I take a shot every time someone says they almost died. You will get hammered
I like watching the high way through hell and i want to give you a tip bring shovel too when trucks or anything in a snow bank ditch shovel it

There are lucky to have Al up there.
The Green Goblin saves the day again
I'd like to see more of the drivers enjoying mincemeat tarts, and butter tarts and shortbread balls covered in icing sugar.
He's great
Just want to see the new seasons I've missed on youtube
Question
Way the truck’s don’t use tires chains with a diamond shaped pattern?
There would be always chains contact with the road
This is my favourit at the show
How can he handle the "INJECTED" drama the tv show forces in? Al & Gord are awsome!
Like The Green Goblin
is the series up anywhere?
Jamie wants to know, Al where's all the chrome??

I loke Al down to earth and his side kick Gordy, I would agree you stick to what you do best sometimes getting too big can cause problems
he needs to come down to New Jersey tonight
where is Al's sidekick Gord?

What ep was it from
I don't think ive seen him get defetted yet unless I'm wrong besides Jamie hes 9ne of the best

Jamie is a princess. In training.
Al does not look like a youngster! He moves like a 20 year old! No muss no fuss just gets the job done!

What does it cost to have your rig drug up a hill in a snow storm?
Al knows how to run a Buisness, he doesn't buy over his head just to loose it, Jaime lives above his means.
Anyone notice who the DRIVER of most of semis are that get stuck. How did some get their semi license?
