      ha! cause here I'd also just been thinking and was coming down to comment, while the two styles are vastly different, the Russo bros kind of feel like to me a comedy and/or blockbuster version of David Fincher. Just in so much as that Fincher has always very friendly and engaging while willing to talk so much and openly the craft, the business, and his stuff. He also from fairly early on in his career was always trying to make sure like a special edition DVD of a film of his (now more so blu-ray) was packed to the gills with bonus materials.
      the Russos, not only are Arrested Development and Community like religious texts to me lol... but okay obviously have now made 4 of some of the best of all the MCU movies, AAAAAND I was liking their stuff before I even realized it was theirs I was liking. I haven't watched "Welcome To Collinwood" in a long time, but I remember pretty much digging it when I first saw it.

      although ironically, while I felt overall it was still ultimately an at best rather mediocre film, after I watched that longer "directors cut" I did feel like technically it "improved" it. I mean we're talking going from like a 4 out of 10 to a 5.5 - 6 out of 10, but still.

    I absolutely love this idea of a 10 year adventure of Marvel movies. People at my school kept laughing at me, talking about how I cried during Tony’s death. These Characters had an impact on my life, and everyone else’s. We’ve grown to love these guys so much, to the extent where we ball our eyes out when they die. Some people say their done with the MCU after EndGame which makes no sense to me. There’s hundreds for issues for “The New Avengers” and issues for the old Avengers that Marvel and Disney can go off of or make their own. Who knows maybe these new Avengers are gonna be just as loved as the old ones. When they die we’ll be crying there too. This may be the end for the Avengers but this sure as hell ain’t the end for marvel. Let’s Welcome these New Age of Superhero’s into the MCU with pride and joy. I love You 3000 MARVEL!🥳❤️❤️

      This is one of the things that broke my heart the most about all this. We've all known over the last couple years Stan was not long for this world (last several, really), and knowing we were THIIIIIIIS CLOSE to the proverbial "ending" (obviously the MCU will still continue to exist for a long time) but of seeing this unprecedented decade-long adaptation of your greatest life's work, I kept saying the last couple years, "just please let him hang in long enough to see the true, proper finish, to see End Game".
      But yeah I recall right in the time shortly before Stan died, the Russos had remarked publicly a couple times they were just about halfway thru post-production on End Game (still then just "Untitled Avengers"). So I mean that was like not even having the most basic of all the editing done so far, not just unfinished VFX shots and a temp score or something. So there wasn't even the most roughest cut of a 'rough cut' they could've possibly been able to show him before he passed :-(

      they've actually already stated a few different times now over the last few months that Marvel deciding to adapt that would be the thing that would most likely bring them back to the studio for one more go round :)
      Mind you, between how far away Kevin Feige would be realistically lining that up, and how the Russos themselves are much looking forward to their next several projects being completely different than their previous decade, we're talking not for another like 7-8 years, AT LEAST.

    • @Silvia-vg7zr
      @Silvia-vg7zr 5 років тому

      @@mitchellp7739 I totally get what you are saying and agree too, but it wouldn't be the same thing if he was in disguise or something with a 3 seconds cameo. like stan lee started marvel, it is all because of the iron man movies that we have the MCU so making RDJ do cameos would be a great homage to his character and the legacy in my opinion

    • @mitchellp7739
      @mitchellp7739 5 років тому +1

      Silvia Sfriso I disagree. Stan lee could play any character as a cameo but RDJ would instantly be seen as iron man and it wouldn’t work. People always want to ruin perfect endings for characters just because they can’t ever let go and move on. There are 11 years of movies that pay homage to RDJ

    If Brie wants to push the incorporation of LGBT (I’m probably missing letters) into the movies, that’s fine, but she should start that movement. Made Carol gay/bi. Or Valkyrie as her character had in the comics.
    But if you bring in new characters into the MCU, like Wolverine or Beta Ray Bill and make them gay or trans, you’re going to piss off the majority of your audience, alienate them, and you’ll see the demise of this franchise.
    Not because they’re gay but because you’re changing the attributes of the characters that have been long standing in the comics just to please a handful of people that complain about the lack of their portrayal in movies.
    Notice I’m strictly mentioning those that complain. I know a number of gay and lesbian people who are fed up with the activist LGBT people constantly complaining for recognition and entitlement when they feel things are fine just as they are.

      @@summertyme5748 a very valid point that I myself was preaching to my friends who hurt their butts thinking about it. Just to raise doubt. Killed Caps old chum buddy Howard. and Still! He concluded helping his friend took precedence over his not only moral obligation to tell Tony(his new chum who suggested in A1 that shield wasn't telling the whole truth. Little did they know. Entrusting Tony as a side thing always looking for Buck, he eventually deceived and betrayed his obligations as a friend by keeping something so personal from him and tag team beating his ass when he found out, letting the bad guy loose. Basically saying he made it clear he chose him once in worse conditions. Now with help from the princess, he no longer has that programming. I don't think you can justifiably come down on me just for asking a question. Maybe they had it going to barns but considered everything+ decided to go a different route??
