Young, skilled humble, respectful. Coachable. Not sure what more you could hope for out of a draft pick. This kid was the biggest steal of the draft, mark my words. Keep doing your thing my guy.
Mannnn...This kid is going places, whether its the NBA or whatever choice he makes in life. What a GREAT example of what a Young Man Should be. Period....A True Role Model for our Youths!!! Love this period, makes me believe there is hope for our youth.

A lot of people around my age (I’m 21) don’t know how to act or respect those around them or who came before them properly but this guy really does. Respect to him and his whole mentality. I will be 24 this year. It's mostly the younger GenZ that makes older GenZ look bad. Then again you have to factor in the parents. My parents were born in the 60s. Somewhere around the late genX early millennial era, is where parenting got soft. There are plenty of GenZ who were raised right, we're just overlooked by the baby GenZs unfortunately 😑
Man he is super well spoken to be so young. I couldn’t imagine getting on air like this and not stuttering. Super happy for him and I hope he has a ton of success in the league.
Can you imagine how well he’d interview had he gone to college for four years? Almost certain this young man didn’t take school for granted and worked hard in the classroom. Much respect to him for his accomplishments so far.
Wow this interview made me love this kid. Throw me on the GG Jackson bandwagon. What a humble, mature, and respectful kid. His attitude and grace will take him far
Y’all don’t know how happy Grizzlies fans are tonight!! This season has been more of a roller coaster than anybody’s, including the Pistons. Between GG & Vince Williams Jr, we’re so happy to have these hungry young guys stepping up!
GG Jackson is an extremely talented basketball player. The grizzlies got lucky and got him a year ahead of when he was expected to be drafted (next year). He was expected by scouts to be a top 10 first round pick.
As an OKC fan, I’m rooting for this kid. Memphis injuries to their main guys sucks but this lowkey might be a blessing in disguise. Use this time to develop the other guys like GG, Vince Williams, and the potential of adding another lottery pick this year. Or even flipping that pick for a potential high end role player could be interesting. Memphis will be back strong next year
I saw GG at LAX after and workout for the lakers and before he was drafted. Glad to see this. We talked before the flight and hes a good down to earth kid living his dream. Congratulations man
I am a diehard grizz fan and the only thing about this awful season of injuries is having this wonderful kid and Vince step up. Memphis is a serious team.
This is so awesome. In that moment he realized he made it. Prior to that he had his head down grinding working on his skill. The stats didn’t matter because he hadn’t hit his goal. When he heard Shaq post game he realized he’s on his way. I’m excited to see if he can keep up the momentum!
GG got ALOT of potential that’s the key word with bro, he reclassified from HS last year to go to South Carolina a year early, he got the build you’d want for a wing in todays league
GG actually lit up in awe when he heard Shaq's voice!! Young man showing love and respect to those who came before him. If only kids in this country would do the same....it would be a better place.
Clips like this is why I'm always rooting for the rookies. They're young, don't know what the hell is going on half the time, but they're just happy to be there 🤣🤣🤣
Other than Shaq doing that corny thing he always does, this was super dope to watch. Just a kid with his whole life ahead of him genuinely shocked by interacting with one of his role models. Gotta love it.
That’s how you know he’s gonna be great, he’s not cocky, not throwing shade at the team he beat or their best player, not even acting too cool about it. Just humble and proud. I’m. now a big fan

I don't know too much about the young man, but it's obvious that he's being raised the right way. Shout out to his parents!
