So Rose had makeup brushes hidden in the collar of her dress in this scene? Wow, that's fascinating. That's why I love stuff like this. And I love Kate Winslet. She's a treasure.
I read somewhere that Kate missed the premiere of _Titanic_ to attend the funeral of her friend who _un-alived_ themself. It's more than likely to me that this scene unearthed some depressing memories of that time.
Kate’s performance in Mare of Easttown was undoubtedly one of the best performances in the last decade. What a career. She’s created her own league when it comes to acting 🙌🏽
Agree. One of the finest performances I've ever seen on tv and I'm 70. I loved the character so much, I just wanted to hug her and Kate for playing her so brilliantly.
I talked to Alan Tudyk at a Con one year about his character in 42. I thought he did a phenomenal job being a complete racist jackhole and wanted to applaud his acting ability, to get me to hate a character so much…. Yeah… Anyway, his body language changed and his public mask slipped. To me - he didn’t say this or even hinted at it - to me, he hated playing that role. Alan, I doubt you’ll ever read this, but I am sorry if I caused you any pain. ❤
I think what’s so special about Kate is not that she’s a tremendous actor, although she definitely is, but the fact that she’s championed for women her whole career and made young women feel comfortable on any set she’s been on. She’s made it clear to young actresses that they do have the choice to say no when they’re uncomfortable and that it’s ok to say it!!! She’s taken her bad experiences and made sure to make young women she works with never to feel the way she’s felt. For me that’s what makes her so special and valued in the movie industry. Young upcoming women in every industry need women like Kate.
I also have respect for Kate Winslet for her stance against plastic surgery, Botox and Ozempic. When she did an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Kate revealed that she had battled an eating disorder and she never told anyone.
All that you said I agree with ... Her❤ accent, her honesty, is wonderful ... love the days we could relive 🎬 ❤... So much fun... let's share this with friends and family 🎉
I haven’t seen Mare but the way she talks about it makes me cry. I don’t even need to see it. She’s so amazing at conveying emotion and making you feel things, even when she’s not acting.
Kate is an extraordinary actor and person who seems so grounded, and has seemed like this throughout her career. Heartbreaking to see her reaction to Mare of East town
She is not only an incredible actor, she is also incredibly funny. I laughed a lot when she is describing the make-up problems during that Titanic scene.
Having tiktok destroy my concentration finding anything what captivates me is so rare, Titanic is one of those things. Kate looks ridiculously beautiful.
LOVE HER!!!! Caught the 25th Anniversary edition of Titanic on the big screen and it was marvelous! ESOASM is gutwrenchingly beautiful. And all of her performances are faultless...
She has to be one of my absolute favorite actors! She's so incredibly talented and so down to earth and wise but also really funny. I wish they would've showed her Sense and Sensibility and A Little Chaos, both with the late great Alan Rickman ♥
Titanic has always been my favorite movie, it introduced me to Period Drama's and the reason why I wanted red hair. Other favorite movies of Kate that aren't listed are Sense & Sensibility and Finding Neverland
Especially about "Heavenly Creatures" as that film helped Kate Winslet start her career as an actress; however I can understand why the video started with "Titanic": that particular film catapulted her career to new heights.
I can't describe how I'm feeling after this video. It feels like something I've waited a lifetime to watch. I love you so much, Kate! You will always be my favorite actress of all time, because you gave me my passion for cinema ❤
It’s so enjoyable to hear Kate talk again about a bit of the background on these scenes. I have seen her do it multiple times now in different settings, and it’s interesting for me and to me it’s shows how much she loves her job.

She has cemented herself as truly one of the greatest actors of all time. She is up there with the likes of Brando, Streep, Heburn and Poitier. Shame Mare of Easttown was made for TV, though. That performance deserved an Oscar as it's so far the best performance of this decade. In both film and TV.

They should do a video of Kate Winslet reacting to different language-dubbing to The Titanic. Reacting to how she sounds in different languages with different voices with her trying to figure out what her lines actually were in English.
So Rose had makeup brushes hidden in the collar of her dress in this scene? Wow, that's fascinating. That's why I love stuff like this. And I love Kate Winslet. She's a treasure.

She's not. She's talking about the ridiculousness of the scene, it has nothing to do with Leo. Why are people interpreting it that way? It's weird.
The nonchalance with which Kate talks about the most iconic scene in the movie history is almost insulting 😅
Well it was her scene. She is allowed to speak on it that way wouldn’t you say? Filmmaking is completely incomparable to film watching
